Morgan's POV
I pull up to Megan's apartment complex and go upstairs to her apartment. I knock on the door and she calls for me to come in.

"You know, I wouldn't leave that door unlocked if I were you. This apartment's in the heart of the city and I wouldn't want you to get robbed or somethin'." I explain as I walk into Megan's living room.

"Don't worry. I don't usually leave my door unlocked. I just left it open this time because you were coming over," Megan says as she leaves her bedroom.

She's wearing bell bottom jeans with white pointed toe boots and a hot pink shirt with tassels. I smile as I look her up and down.

"You look very pretty, Megan." I say. Megan's cheeks flush and she looks me up and down too.

"And you look very handsome, Morgan." She adds. I nod.

"Thanks darlin',"

I chose to wear jeans with my crocodile skin cowboy boots and a nice flannel. I normally wear a baseball cap but today I decided to leave it at home which meant I had to make my hair look nice.

"You ready to go?" I ask. Megan nods.

"Yep,"

"Great. I'll escort you out," I say, putting my arm out so she can link arms with me.

When we get downstairs, I help her into the passenger seat of my truck and then get in the driver's seat. While I'm driving, Megan keeps pressing for me to tell her where we're going.

"Come on. Why can't you tell you tell me where we're goin'?"

"Because I told you that it's a surprise," I say with a laugh. Megan shrugs.

"Fine. I guess I can wait,"

When we drive out of the city, Megan starts looking a bit anxious.

"Why are we leavin' the city?" She asks. I smile.

"You'll find out,"

Megan's POV
I'm still a bit unfamiliar with Tennessee so I have no idea where Morgan's taking me.

He finally pulls into the parking lot of a nice little restaurant that's overlooking a beautiful lake. It even has outdoor seating under an awning that has a great view of the sun setting over the lake.

"Oh Morgan. This place is beautiful. Can we sit outside and watch the sunset?" I ask. Morgan nods.

"Of course. That's what why I picked this place,"

We get seated in a more private spot because Morgan didn't want our date to be ruined by fans bothering him for autographs or something.

"When did you find this place?" I ask. Morgan shrugs.

"Well, when I had a bit of writer's block, I decided to go out for a drive. While on that drive, I saw this little restaurant by the water. I figured I'd check out the place and maybe watch the sunset. You know what happened then?"

"What?"

"My writer's block vanished and my mind started filling up with song ideas. I wrote 7 summers and Need A Boat at this restaurant, you know." Morgan says. I smile.
