Morgan's POV
The next morning, I get a call from Megan before work."Hey Megan. What's up?"
"Hey Morgan. Listen, I know you're working on an album right now and I was wondering if I could join you in your studio today to help you out with it." Megan explains. I smile.
"Sure. I'd love to,"
"Great. See you at work then," Megan says.
"Yeah. See you later," I say before hanging up the phone and putting it in the back pocket of my jeans.
I look at my reflection in the mirror and play a bit with my hair to make it look nice for Megan.
Before I leave, I debate singing the song I wrote for Megan today. I'm sure she'll like it, but I'm still nervous to sing it to her.
Megan's POV
I park my car and walk into Big Loud. I make my way to Morgan's studio and knock on his door.Morgan calls for me to come in and I walk in with my guitar over my shoulder and my computer under my arm.
"Hey Morgan. Ready to write some music?" I ask. Morgan smiles.
"Yep. You got any ideas on that computer of yours?"
"Yeah, but I'm not sure if you'll like any of them." I say.
"Well, let me see them and I'll let you know what I like." Morgan suggests. I shrug.
"M'kay. Here you go. I got a list of stuff I'm definitely gonna use and then I have ones that I'm not sure about keeping so you can check out those songs."
"Cool. Thanks Megan," Morgan says with a smile as he starts scrolling through the computer. Not a moment later, Morgan finds a song already. "Hey. How 'bout this one?"
I sit next to Morgan and put my arm on his shoulder. I peer at the computer and read the title. It's one of my songs that I've been toying with, but can't seem to get finished.
"Last Night? It's supposed to be in a guy's perspective and I can't seem to finish the lyrics," I say. Morgan smiles.
"Well I like it. You mind if I try to finish the lyrics for ya?"
"Sure. I don't care," I reply with a shrug.
"Awesome. Thanks baby," Morgan says.
Morgan then realizes my arm on his shoulder and looks into my eyes. My cheeks flush and I pull away from him, grabbing my guitar to work on a song.
Morgan's POV
"Megan, I wanna show you a song I wrote. Do you mind if I show you it?" I ask. Megan smiles."Um, sure. I'd love to hear it. What's it called?"
"Tennessee Fan," I say.
"Oouuuu. Sounds interesting," Megan says excitedly. I smile.
"Alright. Ready?"
"Yep,"
I starting playing the tune of my song and look up at Megan, getting lost in her beautiful hazel eyes.
"They beat us every damn year
It's been a minute since we pulled out a win
I loaded the truck down with beer
Drove down to watch 'em do it again
And they did so we went to the bar right after
Met a girl with a houndstooth of her chapter on her shirt
And it turned into talkin' all night
She came back with me cross the Vol state lines""Guess the joke's on Alabama 'cause they lost big this time
I got the number one pick, blonde hair, red lips
Brought her over to the other side
A little deep south Delta Gamma
Done found a Smoky Mountain man
Yeah, she was raised Roll Tide 'til the day she died
But ever since that night, she's been a Tennessee fan"
