This chapter is somehow worse than the last one so i greatly apologize. I just started summer school and its freaking hard man so Ive been distracted and mental health is still rough so overall just not great. BUT it's here, it's done, I may or may not be doing Jiara week, lmk if i should.

In order to actually go get the gold, Pope had begged the group to at least create a more thought-out plan, which led the 6 of them to head back to the remains of the chateau to formulate an idea and drink a few beers; however, only 4 were actually present and only one of the 4 was truly focused on the plan, the rest were watching Kiara and JJ sit on the dock passing a blunt that he had rolled earlier.

"Can you guys please focus?" Pope had practically begged, "I know we're worried about her, but JJ has it handled. We need a plan."

"Sorry, yea. You were talking about Charleston?" Sarah asked.

"How is Charleston any different than here?" Cleo asked.

"More money and we don't know people there, so overall it's just safer," JB had answered for Pope. Sarah glanced at the two on the dock.

"Are you sure she's gonna be good? She looked so scared." JB grabbed her shoulder and gave it a squeeze.

"You can go check in on them if you really want. But I'm sure they're good," JB reasoned, "Maybe go offer them new beers?"

"Sneaky sneaky." Cleo chuckled as Sarah got up to go to the cooler to grab 2 new beers and walked down to the dock.

"Kiara," She heard JJ pause, "just talk about it ok? I'm not gonna stop asking." Sarah stopped, letting the two have their conversation.

"I don't even know, Jayge. It's not really comparable to your dad or anything. It's not that bad, it just shocked me."

"Look, Kie, I know you don't want to talk 'bout it and it's a sucky situation, but it isn't comparable. Which is exactly why you should talk to me about it because I don't know what you're thinking and I'm not judging. Ok?"

"It's just shitty. All of it," She looked at him in the eyes and then Sarah caught her peripheral just watching them

"Sare..." Kiara said, "What's up?"

"Sorry- I- I was just- sorry," she said shocked and starting to walk back.

"Nope, come here," Kie made her come back, "What's up?" She asked again.

"I brought beer?"

"Is that all?" She said, reaching out her hand to grab the beers.

"No," she said looking at Kiara and JJ, feet dangling off the side of the dock, "I wanted to check in on you, see how you are doing with everything..."

"I'm good, Sarah."

"Ok, sorry about barging in," she turned to leave and JJ and Kiara watched her go and opened their drinks.

"Anyways, my mom kicked me out of the restaurant and the house, claiming I was still lying even though I said I had proof. Then everything with my dad that y'all saw and heard," she took a breath with JJ just listening, "it all feels so f'ed up. Like what even happened? It was fine a month ago and then everything crumbled, ya know?" JJ just wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

"Yea, I know." It was silent for a minute before Kie spoke up.

"What are we?"JJ practically choked on his beer because of how off-topic this subject was.
