Xichen was drinking tea with Weiying, today Lan Zhan went down the mountain to investigate where Wang Bai Fan was hiding. Both Weiying and Lan Xichen were busy checking on several of the disciples' assignments.

Xichen laughed softly "give them time, they are still a child after all . How about next week I will try to teach them?" Xichen proposed
"Zewu-jun wants to go down the mountain?" Weiying asked

He and Weiying ran out, and there was a loud explosion.
Lan Zhan, Sizhui, and Jingyi were in the front row. Suddenly Sizhui was knocked backwards, and Weiying swiftly caught him
"Are you alright?" Weiying asked
Sizhui nodded Xichen saw Wang Bai Fan, dressed all in black, with red light and aura surrounding him fighting with Lan Zhan.
Xichen ran, he was very worried, he then opened Shuo yue, and slashed at Wang Bai Fan with it, a dark blue light came out from his body. He then covered Lan Zhan and made a barricade with Shuo yue right in front of Lan Zhan
"Wang Bai Fan. You better stop all this!" Xichen shouted
"Stop? I won't stop until I can have Gusu Lan, now it's all up to you. Will you be mine or will you die with Lan Wangji!"
Wang Bai Fan made an explosion with red light in his hand, Lan Zhan tried to cover Xichen, and he was injured right in his chest, he vomited blood and Xichen felt very scared.
He hugged Lan Zhan's body and pulled him back. "Wangji!" He called out frantically
Lan Zhan's eyes already showed great exhaustion, he was hurt inside and out "Xiongzhang, are you okay?" He asked weakly
"Stupid boy! Why did you do that!" Xichen said annoyed, that was the first time Lan Zhan heard Xichen angry after Guanyin temple
"I'll call A-ying to take you away" Xichen wanted to leave, but Lan Zhan grabbed his hand
"Stay close to me" he asked weakly
Xichen gripped Lan Zhan's bicep tightly, he was very worried about Lan Zhan's injured and exhausted condition.
"Lan Wangji I will destroy you!" Wang Bai Fan formed a red whip with his power, he then lashed the whip towards Lan Zhan.
Xichen swiftly made himself Lan Zhan's shield and took the blow from the whip.
His back was badly injured, his clothes were torn, Xichen vomited blood.
Lan Zhan panicked, he hugged his brother who almost fell to the ground "Xiongzhang!" He said weakly
"Didi..." Xichen called out weakly
With one blow, Wang Bai Fan threw them all to the ground, Xichen and Lan Zhan were thrown very far.
Wang Bai Fan then grabbed Lan Zhan and dragged him "he will die, and you will witness it!" He pointed at Xichen
Xichen lay limp on the ground, he couldn't do anything because his whole body hurt and couldn't move.
In a split second, Wang Bai Fan disappeared taking Lan Zhan with him
"No!" Xichen shouted
Weiying approached Xichen "Zewu-jun, we have to take you to the inside first"
"Wangji! Wangji!" He shouted in panic
"We will save him, but I have to treat your wounds first."
With the help of the disciples who were still able to stand, Weiying managed to drag Xichen into Gusu
