I woke up not to my alarm, but to Hyein waking me up. "Five more minutes please.." I slurred, just waking up. "No, Y/n you need to wake up this is serious." Hyein told me. "Uhm.. Okay i'll get ready." I said. "No time, Cmon." She quickly replied, dragging me by my arm.

She took me out into the kitchen where everyone was sitting down, scrolling on their phones and whispering. "So, Y/n." Hanni started. "I'm so so so so so sorry Y/n! Please don't be sad about this." Danielle cut her off. "Sorry about what? Wait- am I being kicked out the group?" I asked them, fearing the worst. "No, it's nothing like that." Minji affirmed. "But, your in scandal." Haerin told me.

"What!? About what? Oh no.." I said, shocked. I mean I think i've been pretty good as an idol recently, I guess not. "Come here." Danielle said patting the seat next to here on the couch. I obliged and sat down, fiddling with my hands.

Danielle pulled up a screenshot from the NewJeans Groupchat and showed me. It read; [NewJeans Y/N has been under fire for her lazy dancing skill, netizens say she might be the worst hybe dancer.] Although the last part was blurred out, I could still see half of it from underneath the text. "But i'm not even a lazy dancer! I mean, I don't think so." I told them. "Yeah, I agree, you're not, but the music shows have been editing your dance moves. At least that's what we think." Minji told me.

"So what do I do now? Are we still going to music bank? Did I mess up our group? Oh no.." I said the last part with a whisper. "Yes, we're still going to music bank, and your gonna show them that you can actually dance, Okay?" Hyein asked, more like affirmed. "Okay." I smiled. "Now cmon, Let's practice a bit more!" Danielle suggested.

—— AT MUSIC BANK ——

"Y/n-ah, Give us an OOTD!" Danielle told me, filming me with a camera. I laughed nervously before answering. "So I have a cropped neck blue shirt with this light blue skirt, and my earrings match the outfit." I said dangling my earrings. "It's so cute! Anything you want to say to the camera?" She asked me. "Today is a very special performance so I hope you guys enjoy it." I told the camera.

"That's right!" Danielle agreed, and then she went over to go 'interview' Minji. I sat down on the bench since my makeup and outfit was all ready, waiting for my members to finish theirs. "Hi Y/n." Hyein greeted, sitting down next to me. "Oh, you finished your makeup?" I asked her. "Yeah, a long time ago, but me and Danielle were vlogging on the camera." She told me.

"Oh, explains why she came to interview me. Are you excited for this stage?" I asked Hyein. "Uh, of course I am!" She beamed. "And, you have the opening line for hurt, it will be so fun" I reminded her. "Your hair looks so good in those bangs." She complimented me. "You too! your ponytail is so good, now I want one." I told her, joking.

She pretend flipped her hair and then there was an awkward silence before she put her hands on my shoulders. "Y/N is the best idol alive!" She shook me. "What was that for..?" I said, a shocked but confused look arose on my face. "Just so you can feel better. Trust me everyone will support you." She told me. "Thank you." I said hugging her shortly, our moment ruined by Minji.

"Come on girls, stage time." Minji told us. "Really? Now?" I whined. "Yes now!" She said, about to drag me before I stood up quickly and raced to the door. Once we were told that we were ready, we went backstage and got our mics ready, Me and Haerin were practice the choreography because we had 5 minutes until we actually when on stage.  Finally, when waiting time was over we walked on stage into our positions, getting ready to preform hype boy.

— after the stage —

"Good job girls." Hanni said. "Good job." I repeated. "I saw you going all out on stage, you did great." Minji told me, I blushed because of the compliment. We walked back stage to get our outfits on for Hurt, the special stage we were planning.

There was another Group preforming now, so we had time to look back at our performance. we all sat down on a couch while Minji held the phone, all of us watching intently. "Everytime Haerin dances, you can see her hair bounce." Minji said, waving her hand around. "It's like a wave." Hanni agreed. Haerin was called to get her makeup touched up, so we decided to wait for her. "Wait so what do you mean you follow my steps?" Minji asked Hanni

"Because you're infront of me, I just follow your lead." Hanni explained to Minji. "That's how you do it?" Minji understood. "So, I just follow your steps, if you move to the side, I do too." Hanni told her. We unpaused the video and kept analyzing the performance. "We should go backwards too much." Minji said, I nodded.

We finished watching the stage and I sighed. "Let's go crush 'Hurt' as well!" Minji hyped us.
We were then called to the stage as we did our little 'hand sandwich' "One, Two, Three" We all said. "Have fun!" Danielle quickly told us. "Wait, Wait, Wait" I said and then we all pressed down hard on eachothers hands and then released, we were full of energy. "Let's get go!" Hyein pointed to the direction, then the flip walked towards it. "Whoosh!"

—— AFTER HURT STAGE ——

We walked onto stage with a bunch of other idols. We were doing the winning ceremony. "It's time to see the K-Chart winner for the third week of August 2022." MC Wonyoung said. "Between NewJeans and Girls' Generation." She finished. "Who will win first place? Please show us the scores!" MC Sunghoon told. "Digital Singles, Airtime frequency, Viewer Preferences, Album sales, Social Media count, Who will win?" He read off the list.

"NewJeans, congratulations! How do you feel?" Wonyoung congratulated us. I immediately put my hands to my mouth shocked. We all jumped as the fireworks went off. "Omg?" I whispered. Wonyoung handed the statue to Danielle, then Danielle gave it to Minji. "How do you feel?" Wonyoung asked us. "To CEO Min Heejin, Who worked hard since our debut, and all the HYBE employees, Thank You." Minji thanked.

"Thanks so much to the fans who cheer us on" She jumped up and down in excitement. "And all our members worked so hard, and thanks to every members family. We'll work even harder in the future. NewJeans, I love you! Please keep cheering us on." Minji finished. "Great." Sunghoon said. "I guess it's time to say goodbye." He says. "When you need music... Watch it on.." Wonyoung started. "Music Bank! Have a great weekend!" Both MCs said together.

Attention cut on as we all bowed to everyone as people started to leave the stage. Hyein brought some mop onto the stage and I laughed. "One, two, three 용기가 생겼지 이미 아는 네 눈치 고개를 돌려 천천히 여기🎵" I sung, still laughing. Hanni took one of the brooms from her and started sweeping the stage. I put on the sunglasses that Haerin has gave me and put them on my head as everyone else had one on. "지금 돌아서면 I need ya, need ya, need ya To look at me back Hey 다 들켰었나" Danielle sung. "Look at you my heart blew a fuse!" We all sang.

"You got me looking for Attention." I finished the song. "Yay!!" We all cheered. "Thank You!" We bowed. I jumped up in down in excitement and So did Hyein "Thank you!" We thanked again, bowing. "NewJeans!" I said. We all waved to the camera man and he came to us one by one so we could do our 'ending fairy' I put up a peace sign for mine. "Thank you, Bye!!" We thanked for the last time, then walked off the stage.

We walked into our room backstage as our staff members cheered for us. "NewJeans, NewJeans!" We chanted, clapping our hands in joy. "Good job!" They said. "Thank you!" We cheered, excitedly. "I feel so happy right now." Hanni beamed. "I really can't believe it." I said in shock. "That's right." Hyein agreed. "It still feels like a dream." Danielle said. "Yes, And I don't think I spoke well on that stage, How I felt about our Debut..." Hyein thought. "Our debut?" Haerin asked confused. "About winning first place!" Hyein changed her word.

"It's thanks to all the love and support we've received. and all the love 'Attention' has received that we were be able to be nominated today and even first place, Thank you so much." Haerin thanked. "We'll work even harder." Minji promised. "Thank you!" We thanked everyone once again. "Please keep giving us your love!" "Thank you so much!" We waved goodbye.
