ANNIVERSARY. 16

(no i did not fall off, i just have school!!! but i love newjeans and will never stop loving newjeans or writing this fanfic <3)

Tomorrow is our anniversary. Today, we are filming an interview. For the interview, it was going to be one on one, but the members were also doing this too. I walked into the room and sat on the stool, waiting for instructions. Just then, I got a notification from my phone reading "Introduce yourself in your own way." I pondered for a second not really knowing what it meant.

"Hello, i'm Y/n from NewJeans. I'm 17 years old and.. I like singing." I spoke, not really knowing what to say despite taking introduction classes for about 2 months. "What did you first think when you woke up this morning." "I thought it was too early to wake up so I went back to sleep." I chuckled.

"What did you eat this morning?" "I had a glass of orange juice and a sunny side up egg. I wasn't feeling that hungry this morning." I nodded my head. "What did you do today?" "I was with my members, and we recorded for this radio thing, and we took ID photos and did a lot of interesting and fun things." I remembered.

"Do you remember how it was around this time last year?" I smiled. I thought back to the past, knowing that this was around the time we were getting ready for debut. "Yes. We were practicing for our debut around this day, and I remember just having so much fun with the members and getting hyped for our debut."

"What are your concerns these days?" "Well for me, probably not being great in dancing. I think I am getting better as I have been practicing a lot, but don't worry, i'll take breaks!" I reassured. "What's your joy in life these days?" "Probably going on stage, seeing bunnies, and being with my members." I made a bunny sign.

"What are you into these days?" "Probably finding good cafés to go to. I love cute cafés and I love the ones that make smoothies. Dani unnie and I always have to go to one if we see one."

After the interview was over, I went back to the HYBE building, to go practice. Hyein and Danielle were already done with the interview prior, so I guess they went to our dorms.

Y/n: Do you girls want to practice a bit or go to eat something? I'm heading to the dorm.
Hyein: Sure! Mo Dani and I are just in the dorm, we'll meet you halfway unless you want to put your stuff down.
Y/n: Yeah, I need to put my stuff down so i'll see you in about 3 minutes, i'm already heading inside!"
Hyein: By the way, we're live! so, we will just end it when you get here, but you can join us.

I shut off my phone and walked over to the elevator and got inside. It was about 10 seconds until i got to our floor, and I walked out of the elevator. I walked to the dorm and saw a few idols on the way, and some trainees. I "barged" into the newjeans dorm to see Hyein and Dani sitting on the couch, live.  "Hi bunnies~! Hi girls!!" I waved to the camera, then put my things down.

"As much as we love being live with you bunnies, were going to go now!" Danielle sadly said goodbye to bunnies, Hyein says bye as well, then ending the live. "So, are we going out to eat or what!?" Hyein excitedly asked. "Yes! food for us all!" I declared. "Grab your things bags girls, then we can head out to.. I don't know actually,"

"Hmm, well I was thinking we could get a food bowl, that sounds good." Dani suggested. "Mmm, Yess!! That sounds so good right now, you're the best, Dani-unnie!" Hyein agreed. "What about me? Am I not good enough for you?" I asked jokingly. "Well, you're okay... I guess.." She joked back. "Hey!" I smacked her on the shoulder.

"Enough teasing guys, lets gaurrr!" Dani stopped us. We walked out of our dorm, Hyein locking the door behind us. At the food place, I ordered a bowl with rice, sour cream, lettuce, cheese, chicken, and corn. (disclaimer this supposed to be like chipotle but i also don't even know my chipotle order so ITS WHATEVER UR ORDER WOULD BE)

I also ordered a sparkling water to go with my food. Me, Dani, and Hyein sat down at the benches, feasting on our food. "So, are you girls excited for our anniversary?" I asked them. "Yeah, I am. I'm so excited! Its also super cool how we had a comeback near our debut date." Dani replied. "Im also excited. Ive been feeling deja vu recently." Hyein said. "Me too! I can't wait." I smiled.

a/n: felt obligated to post this i wanted to make this chapter longer but it's been sitting in my drafts for weeks now and i don't want y'all to think i'm gone so here's that, i want to get the rest of the get up era done before the new comeback
