"Excited for your first game?" Blaise asked.
"Hell yeah! We're gonna kick Gryffindor's arse!" Draco said, optimistically.
"Mh," Atlas mumbled.
"What's wrong with him?" Pansy asked Blaise.
"He gets nervous over the littlest things," Draco said.
"I do not!" Atlas pouted. He took a bite of his toast.
"Of course, you don't," Draco chuckled.
They finished their breakfast and headed outside. Draco and Atlas walked toward the locker room as the rest of the group walked to the stands. The boys began getting changed for their match. Atlas tried not to focus on his breakfast that was trying to crawl back up his throat.
"Your father bought the brooms so you could get on the team, right?" Atlas asked.
"Yeah."
"Okay, I get that, but why am I on the team? He doesn't like me very much."
"Ah, see, now that would be my doing. In exchange for the brooms, I demanded Flint to put both of us on the team."
Atlas gaped at him. Why would he do that? It didn't make any sense. At the time, they weren't even talking. "Thanks."
The Slytherin team walked out onto the pitch and got in formation. Flint and Wood shook hands.
"On my whistle," Madam Hooch started. "Three, two, one."
The fourteen players flew upwards into the sky. Harry and Draco flew the highest, looking for the Snitch. Atlas didn't mind them much, as he had to focus on the Quaffle.
Angelina Johnson caught the Quaffle and sped towards Slytherin's hoops. She threw the ball to Katie Bell, but Flint intercepted it. He passed it to Adrain Pucey, who then threw it to Atlas. He quickly sped toward the other side of the pitch and scored.
About halfway through the game, a Bludger headed toward Atlas. It nearly knocked him off his broom. It suddenly changed course, heading straight toward Harry. The rain started to pour down, making it difficult to see.
"Slytherin lead, sixty points to zero," Lee Jordan said.
Altas noticed that the Bludger kept trying to hit Harry. Wood noticed this too and called a time-out. Madam Hooch blew her whistle and the teams descended.
"Someone must've tampered with that Bludger," Flint said.
"Wait, you didn't do that?" Atlas asked him.
"Nope."
The rain started falling heavier. On Madam Hooch's whistle, they flew back into the air.
The Slytherin team scored a few more points. Atlas glanced up to see Draco teasing Harry, who was flying all over to avoid the rogue Bludger. Harry stilled for too long and got hit. Atlas could hear the crack of a bone.
"Lestrange!"
He caught the Quaffle that was heading right towards him, almost fumbling. Katie and Angelina blocked him off. He duped them and raced in the opposite direction. He went as fast as his broom would fly and started zig-zagging to try to shake the two girls off his back.
"And an attempt at the Woollongong Shimmy from Slytherin's new chaser, Lestrange!"
He threw the Quaffle to Adrian and looked back up at the Seekers. Harry charged toward Draco, who flew out of the way. Harry took his hand off the broom and reached out, grabbing the Snitch. He was only gripping the broom with his legs, a very dumb move in Atlas' opinion. The crowd yelled as he fell toward the floor.
