The desk was cold. The clamps over your wrist freezing your skin more than the metal stand they lay on.

He was a rather tall man... standing around six foot and a half.

Most found him a threat, someone to be feared when he walked down the halls.

He was feared enough that every inmate memorized his knock at the door and his footstep down the hall.

But there was a soft spot in his heart for you.

"What is your name?" His eyes stared deep into you like a knife, but the glimmer over the deep black struck you as someone with affection. "Do you remember what happened two days ago?"

"My name is (Y/N) Carnage... and no I don't sir." You were so small, having to sit on your knees to even get your wrists to sit on the metal table. Your grip wasn't exactly contained in those adult sized cuffs.

Kanagawa let out a sigh. He had been asking the same questions for the past three hours yet you still stayed willing to answer his questions even though you still shook with fear. "Don't you think It's time to let them rest Doctor?" He didn't look at the old man when he addressed him.

"We can't stop I'm afraid. They will have to remember before we let them out." There was no care in his voice. So heartless. Only looking for a paper cheque with his name on it for imprisoning a criminal.

"Where's my mommy?" Tears popped in your eyes and streamed down your chubby cheeks. "Can I please go home now? I miss my mommy and daddy..."

He took pity on you, stealing quick glances at your broken little body from across the table. His heart breaking too much to see you so confused.

The tall man took his stand, the doctor finally looking at him when Kanagawa stared him down. Literally.

"May I talk to you outside then Doctor." There was a sarcastic tone in his voice.

Both the men stepped out the room away from your ears but kept an eye on you through the one sided window, the other a mirror to you.

"What is it you'd like to talk ab-"

"Stop torturing this poor child." His voice pierced the doctor and stopped his voice from entering the air. "They don't fucking remember who they killed so why can't you leave the CHILD alone and stop being a bully... honestly at your ripe old age you couldn't give less of a shit if you make a little girl cry!?"

"I-" The doctor almost dropped his pen at the sudden insult but didn't have the nerve to retaliate. "We have to tell them, that's the order from the police."

"I am the police. I deal with more than those officers every day than they have in a year." Kanagawa struggled to hold his rage back, his fist landing into a nearby desk instead of the wrinkly old mans face.

"We tell the child that her mother died... that their father is missing and that they didn't kill their mother."

"But they- That's a lie!" The doctor yelled, your ears only picking up muffles through the thick walls.

"Does it look like I care?" He stung into the man is his eyes lit into a dark yet bright shining red. "Enter that room again and I'll put you in a grave."

Kanagawa came back into your room, checked his black slicked back hair in the mirror, two pieces falling down either side of his face and sat back down with you.
