It was painful to watch. Not from the girl practically throwing her life into a fight, begging for a single opportunity to lay one finger on him, activate her power and just hope he had no way of counteract her.

No, it was the crowd that made your stomach churn, brows furrow and grimacing as your class muttered in disapproval.

"What a monster." They said. "How could he treat a poor girl that way?"

How did they not see it?

Banging on about equality and treating everyone the same, yet they couldn't stand the thought of someone applying it to a fight. A competition.

You couldn't take it. "The fuck is wrong with all of you?" It took too much to say it out loud enough for everyone to hear. The judgement you could get for standing up for the boy nobody really liked.

"Did you say something (Y/N)?" Eijiro lent close to you, eyes still glued to the fight as he cringed at the girls attempts. Not out of embarrassment, just disgust or maybe sadness.

Maybe you could say it to him.

"Do you think he's treating her unfairly?" You kept watching.

He did the same, pausing for a while before responding. "Kinda, Bakugou's practically teasing her at this point. I mean just take her down or let her win."

"So... you don't see it?"

"See what?"

Taking a deep breath, you told him to watch closely. "Katsuki isn't teasing her, he's giving her a fighting chance." He turned to look at you instead. "We both know he is stronger than her in this kind of fight. You may not be able to admit it, but people like me and Uraraka, our power doesn't compete with him."

"How doesn't it?"

"That's no the point Eijiro." You shook your head. "I'm saying that he actually believes she is strong. If he didn't and just thought she 'wasn't worthy' or something, he would have blasted her out the arena ages ago."

He thought for a moment. Watching closely as the girl ran at him, Katsuki breaking the platform below him into pieces. She fought as hard as she could, and he gave her a chance. "You really think he believes she's powerful enough to beat him?"

"No." He was taken aback for a moment. "He doesn't think she can beat him, he doesn't think that about anyone, even Todoroki."

You continued. "But, he knows that... most people in our class are strong, otherwise they wouldn't be here."

"Even Kaminari and me?"

You turned to him, finally noticing how close he had become. He backed away. "Of course. Maybe he thinks Kaminari is stupid with him power like I do, but he will never admit that he thinks you are both strong."

The two of you stayed silent for a moment, watching the fight. The crowd growing more rowdy faster and faster eventually drove Aizawa over the edge. He practically scolded the entire stadium, repeating almost every word you said. Maybe he had a bigger impression on your way of thinking than you knew, or maybe he just brought it out of you and enhanced it. But he did what you couldn't and spread what you could only say to one person, to thousands.

"Well-" Kirishima spoke again. "-At least he's man enough to say one person is strong enough for him."

You looked at him confused and laughed a little out of awkwardness and wonder. "Who?"

"You, silly." He smiled and half punched your upper arm.

You smiled too and watched on. After Aizawa finished his speech, you got up from your seat, asking if Kirishima wanted to come with you but denied, and walked to the railing of your class' cubicle.

The smoke cleared, Urarakas figure emerging. She was half crouched, ready to attack. She spoke for a moment, her hands slowly coming together as the words left her mouth. Though you couldn't make out his face, you read that he was shocked, stepping back a bit and tilting his head upwards.

You did the same, following his gaze to the sky where a solar system or floating debris were soon to be released from her grasp and crush the boy, at least distract him enough for her to get one touch on him.

Her fingers parted, the rock rushing down furiously from all different heights. She dodged through the smaller parts falling, Urarakas only aim being to get close to him as he wondered what to do.

You looked back at Katsuki, watching his look at his hand, feeling over it with the other as it shook lightly, and raised it to the sky.

Katsuki grimaced for a moment, tensing his fingers till sparks flew, sweat dripping down his palms only to be ignited into a fireball ready to destroy all her efforts.

It only took a second for it to turn into a mushroom cloud, rocks disintegrating into nothing. Ochacos body flew back violently, not enough to push her out of bounds. But her dreams of winning just one round were ruined.

Your class was shook, gasping at the power he had inside him, but how could it be a surprise?

She stood back up. It wasn't over. She charged back at him, Katsuki shaking away the pain is his palms and heading straight for her. He must have been surprised, but the fight wasn't over.

Until she fell.

Katsuki stopped, his whole body wresting. He wasn't a monster, he knew she was down and didn't deserve a beating.

But she kept clawing, dragging herself across the arena. She was slow but she was fighting till the end.

As quick as the boy rested his body, on sight of her coming to even just attempt to attack him, Katsuki tensed his body again, crouching his knees and readying his palms.

If they didn't see it before, they must have now. Bakugou believed that she would still keep fighting, even what she was moving at snails pace across the ground, her legs not even working, he was ready for her attack.

Midnight came to the scene, placing her arm out for Bakugou to stand back.

Uraraka was down, defeated.

You could only hope people didn't feel pity for her.

Hey, i know i made a separate chapter for an update but i think it might be unfair to do that again. I dont think I'll be continuing this story for a few reasons. I genuinely have no idea where i want to take this, my mind is completely focused on my own comic I'm trying to make so i have no time, and a lot of health complications.

I have lumbar scoliosis, meaning it's hard for me to move around and even just walk sometimes. I'm not like bent out of shape so bad you can see, but i can't stand up straight and can't even really ride a bike anymore. This means that I have very low energy and honestly a very low mental state since having this kind of condition and effect doing what it is when I'm only 15 REALLY fucks me up.

If i do update, then it will be very far apart from the last chapter and most likely quite short like this one since a single chapter of just 1000 words can take about two hours. And not really caring about the story doesnt help much.

I'm sorry if this disappoints anyone, but there is one book i cannot recommend to people enough.

Please go read Fantasy Bakugou x Reader by @Belongs_To_Bakugou.  It is honestly the best book i have ever read and what inspired my comic and hopefully my future career. This may sound so cringe but it actually changed my life and I have cried so many times because of it. The Author deserves so much love for creating it.

I beg you go read it even if you aren't sure about the whole fantasy AU of My Hero. It's truly amazing.

Have a wonderful day. <3
