Why won't they turn back?

Your veins. Cursed in black, reaching under your skin to every limb. Though your hands looked like any other, something didn't feel right.

In only a few minutes, nothing could feel normal anymore.

"You have one thing left to lose."

Was that really how weak you were?

So easy to turn your quirk, your power, into a curse? So ready to hurt- even kill- anyone just so her life wasn't taken from you?

It seemed pathetic to anyone else.

Surely, she had a family of her own. She had her own life now, maybe a good boyfriend who doesn't cheat on her.

So, why did you care so much?

Simple.

She was all you had. No matter what you had at UA, she was always stuck in your roots, someone to rely on in such a dark chapter of your life.

The thought of hurting someone hurting her, you hurting anyone for her, it made you sick.

The thought of hurting Katsuki to save her life made you sick, but a tear rolled down your face with the feeling.

"Don't let anyone see you cry again." You repeated to yourself over and over again till the words felt taboo. "Kanagawa saw you cry and look what it got you into. Keep it together (Y/N)."

Walking through those burdening halls, you felt no emotion but sadness. Lost the ability to smile or laugh. But you pushed it aside, making your way through the crowded lunch hall till you found a lonely table far from anyone else.

"Hey (Y/N)-" A clump of yellow hair, a lighting strike through it stood beside your table. "I'm sure you already know, I just reminded the other girls, but you're meant to wear those cheerleading outfits."

A deep blush covered Kaminaris face, Mineta below him with a drunken look.

Both pointing at the same time, you saw a huddle of girls, all with pointed noses and bright shining eyes in orange skirts and short crop tops.

"You don't want to be the only one going against the rules, do you?" Mineta looked up at you with a raised brow, leaning onto the table with his elbow.

Taking a deep breath, you stood from your seat. Their faced besmirched with devilish grins that they tried to hide.

You looked back over at the girls, examining their eyes, every feature. They weren't Japanese.

Aizawa had told you about this, American students coming over to cheer the sports festivals, first, second and third years.

Raising your leg, you pushed it into Minetas face and forced him down till he was pinned to the floor. You bent down to him, pinning his arms behind his back, the feeling of disgust when you touched him over coming you.

"You seriously think I'm that dumb?"

"Ow ow- Get off me!" He begged and tried to kick your arms but missed by inches. "I'm sorry, ok?! We just wanted to see you in those uniforms!"

Kaminari put a hand on your shoulder. "We're sorry (Y/N), but please just let go of him."

You hooked your fist into his jaw, lighter than the forced you put on Mineta, but enough for him to stumble back an his hand to leave your jacket.

"You started this, so don't think you're getting out of it. Just wait till we're in the ring." You let Mineta go, him climbing fast to his feet and scurrying away like a rat. Grabbing Denkis arm as he tried to follow, you pulled him close to you, your mouth almost touching his ear as you spoke. "Pretty boy privilege won't help you against me. Now fuck off."
