The reason was because she wanted to her hair to match her thicc body, not knowing what the hair spray is for until finding out the following day.
) At first, she wanted to show off her new looks, but after learning more about her powers, she instead decided to use her abilities for good and become a superhero, under the alias of "Diva Star" and had been a hero since highschool.
) One of Trina's friends helped her research the hairspray and learned that it was actually a expiremental growth formula in a attempt to create superhumans put of unexpecting consumers and this prompts Trina to help stop them. Her same friends also gave her a specially made hair tie to contain her afro, made from a highly dense rubber that's as durable as elevator cables.
