"Hey, where are we?" you asked.
"We're at my brother's monastery." Sensei Wu looked at you guiltily. "Glayde, listen. Nya and I have to go to a secret location that's quite far from here. If we stop at your shop, we will not have enough fuel to reach our destination. Would you mind staying here with my brother until Lloyd comes back? By that time, we could drop you off."
You stared at him. This clever little man. This was his plan all along, wasn't it? You were trapped. You hated being trapped.
"No problem." The words tumbled out of your mouth before you could stop them. "So, do I just tell your brother you're having me stay, or..."
"He already knows." OF COURSE HE ALREADY KNEW.
"Great! So, I wish you luck with... whatever you're doing, and I'll see you this evening!"
You waved goodbye and headed up toward the temple. Once you reached, you knocked on the door three times. The door was opened by a friendly-looking old man whom you assumed to be Sensei Garmadon.
"Hello, I'm-"
"You must be Glayde. Come in, I'll show you where you can sit." WHY DOES THIS OLD MAN KNOW YOUR NA-
Oh, wait. You knew why. Never mind.
"Thank you, sir," you replied, putting up your shopkeeper facade with reinforced concrete.
"Please, call me Sensei." He beckoned you in and you marveled at the monastery's beauty. It had an air of tradition, but not in the strict way you expected.
"You have a beautiful monastery, Sensei," you remarked. He chuckled.
"Thank you. For your benefit, I have cancelled classes today. My son is out with his friends, so you can stay in his room for now."
Woah.
Hold up.
You're going to stay. In the room. Of Lloyd Garmadon. The Green Ninja.
You're. Going. To. Stay. In. Lloyd. Garmadon's. Room.
Okay, okay. Don't freak out. Don't freak out. Shopkeeper facade. Shopkeeper facade.
"Alright," you said, trying hard to sound like you weren't squealing. "Are you sure he won't mind?"
"I'll tell him," he replied. He showed you to LLOYD GARMADON'S ROOM THAT YOU WOULD BE SITTING IN.
"Thank you again, Sensei," you said.
"It was my pleasure." With that, he left the room, leaving you to ponder today's events.
