You pulled out your phone and saw the screen. Kyle was calling. Oh no! He probably got worried when you didn't come back.

You answered the phone. "Hey, Ky-"

"WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU!?" screamed Kyle from the other end of the phone. You almost dropped it on the floor.

"Dude, relax!" you said. "You're not gonna believe this, but - I'm at Sensei Garmadon's monastery." You heard something fall on the other end of the phone.

"Sensei Garmadon? As in, father of Lloyd Garmadon!?"

"Yeah!" you said. "And I met Nya! And Sensei Wu." You now held the phone away from your ears. You knew what was coming next, and you happened to like your eardrums.

"YOU WHAT!? THAT'S AMAZING! WHAT WAS SHE LIKE!?" he hollered.

"Kyle, remember what I taught you," you said sternly, bringing the phone back to your ear.

"HUH? OH, >ahem!< Right. Sorry. Shopkeeper facade. So, what was Nya like? And have you met Lloyd yet? I know he's your favorite." Ah, Kyle. Such a good friend. You really should promote him to co-manager.

"Nya was pretty chill. I complimented her about her thing as Samurai X and she invited me to hang out with the ninja some time, though I doubt she meant it. And I haven't met Lloyd yet, but I'm probably going to, since I'm sitting in his bedroom," you said.

"Woah, Lloyd's bedroom? The Green Ninja's bedroom? What's it like?" he asked excitedly. You felt bad about disappointing Kyle. Kyle was a good guy.

"It's normal," you answered.

"Oh." He sounded disappointed. Aw, dang it.

"Oh, well. He's only human. You can't expect him to be a ninja all the time, right?"

That... made sense. Is Kyle just another sensei in disguise?

"Yeah. Well, anyway, make sure you run the store responsibly. Don't go to the city to get boxed noodles, check that the night signs have lit up, and if that guy who wears the singular glove that has camel ears comes into the shop, make sure he doesn't buy any strawberry lemon pops." you directed.

"Will do, boss." Kyle hung up.
