After the airship landed, Raven found herself alone walking towards the auditorium. Qrow had run off to flirt with a group of girls. Raven had no problem being alone, and glared at anyone she made eye contact with.

When she was walking through the courtyard, she had someone bump into her from behind, hard enough that the other person fell to the ground. Raven turned around to see the girl in the white cloak from earlier. Raven glared at her as the other girl quickly got out an apology, at which Raven rolled her eyes. "Watch it next time."

Raven expected that to be the end of it as she turned back around and continued walking, but the girl in the white cloak stood up and followed her. "You don't have to be so rude, I said I was sorry!"

Raven turned to face the other girl, and when she spoke, it was in a low and cold tone. "And I told you to watch it. That includes the way you talk to me. Got it?"

The girl in the white cloak's eyes widened, a bit of fear seeping into them, but the more prominent emotion was defensiveness. She opened her mouth to say something, but the blond guy from earlier walked up behind her, gently putting a hand on her shoulder before speaking. "Hey, Summer, we still have a while before we need to be at the auditorium. Want to explore the courtyard a bit?"

The defensiveness in Summer's eyes slips away as she turns to face the blond. "Sure, Tai. Lead the way."

The two walked off, leaving Raven alone. But that wasn't before Raven caught a glimpse of fear in the blond's eyes. As the pair walked off, she muttered their names. "Summer and Tai..."

She'd remember them. And not for the better.

Summer smiles as she walks with Tai. The two had met earlier on the airship, after Summer had tripped and he had helped her up. "So, why'd you help me out back there?"

Tai's previous smile fades a bit. "I didn't get a good vibe from that girl...And she didn't look like she was being the nicest to you."

Summer nods, deep in thought about the situation. "She was aggressive, but I can't thank you enough. But we should begin making our way to that auditorium. I suck with directions, and will get lost."

Tai chuckles at Summer's confession. "If it makes you feel any better, I promise I'm worse."

The girl shakes her head, laughing softly. "We'll get there."

Willow chuckles softly as she leans against a wall in the auditorium, talking and joking with Kali. "So, what kind of faunus are you exactly, if it isn't inappropriate for me to ask?"

Kali smiles a bit, as her ears perk up at the change in subject. "I'm a wolf faunus, why do you ask?"

Willow's smile softens a bit as a light blush appears on her cheeks. "I grew up in Atlas, so I've never gotten the chance to see a faunus up close...I hope that doesn't sound racist, I'm sorry-"

Kali cuts the girl off before she can continue apologizing. "Not at all! I love it when people are curious. Would you...like you pet my ears?"

Willow's eyes widen in a bit of surprise. "I know a bit about faunus, so do correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that-" When Kali nods, Willow doesn't bother to finish that thought. "Where...Where is it sensitive? If you're sure, then I'll avoid that area."

Kali smiles, a warm, inviting glow on her face. "The inner edges. Just try to avoid them if you can."

Willow nods, slowly reaching up her hand before gently stroking Kali's wolf ears with her fingertips. The fur on the ears was soft, and felt like a real wolf. "Th-They're so soft..."

Willow continues gently stroking the wolf faunus' ears, as a mischievous smile spreads across her face. Willow slips a single finger to stroke the inner edge of Kali's wolf ear, chuckling a bit as the wolf faunus' face turns red. Willow takes her hand away, letting it drop to her side. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself."

Kali chuckles as her blush fades. "It's alright, just don't get used to it or I'll find your weak spot."

Willow rolls her eyes playfully. "I'll give it away, it's my hair."

Kali smiles, but it melts into a smirk. "Oh really? So if I just pulled it.."

Willow's cheeks gain a little color, which is easy to notice on her pale skin. "Yes, and I'll let you have one free pull since I did that to your ears."

Kali shakes her head. "I'll keep it in mind, but I won't abuse my newfound power."

The microphone in the auditorium is tested, and everyone looks up onto the stage to see the Headmaster of Beacon Academy, Professor Ozpin.

"I'll...keep this brief."
