Willow and the boys sit at the breakfast table, on Halloween, when Hermione walks over "Harry and Ron are idiots." she says as she sits down next to Blaise. "What happened?" Blaise asks. "Snyder challenged Harry to a duel yesterday for midnight last night. I tried to stop them but ended up having to go with them as the portrait to our dorm wandered off. Long story short, it was a set up and we ended up in the third floor corridor. There's a massive three headed dog guarding a trapdoor!" Hermione whisper explains. "Why the Hell would they keep something like that in a school?! That can't be safe!" Theo exclaims. "If it's protecting something it has to be something important." Willow whispers. "What could it be though?" Draco asks. "No idea." Willow shrugs. "Willow, you still alright for the extra practice tomorrow?" Marcus asks, walking over and sitting next to her. "Yep, Professor Snape gave me my robes last night." Willow nods with a smile. "Okay, see you later then." Marcus smiles, ruffling her hair before walking off. "I still can't believe that everyone has already found out about Harry but no one except us and the team know about you." Hermione smiles. "Most likely because most of Gryffindor can't keep their mouths shut." Theo jokes, everyone laughing. Just then the post arrives making everyone look up at the owls, two letters being dropped to Willow. Willow smiles when she sees the handwriting "Who are they from?" Hermione asks. "Bill and Charlie." Willow responds, opening Bill's letter first.

Little Willow Tree,
I'm glad you're enjoying Hogwarts and haven't been split from the boys. Everything is alright here, been helping with a couple of tombs that have recently been discovered. Don't worry, I'm being perfectly safe. Not much has happened other than the new tombs, I'm starting on a new one tomorrow. Kol and Davina sent me an owl about this summer, I'll see what I can do. I'm coming for the Christmas Ball as usual though, don't worry. I'm pretty sure Charlie is too. Have you made any friends that are coming to the Ball, other than Hermione? Anything happened at Hogwarts?
Love,
Your Big Brother,
Bill xx

Willow smiles and opens Charlie's letter next.

Little Dragon,
Everything is great in Romania. We've got a few new baby dragons, a Welsh Green, a Chinese Fireball and a Hungarian Horntail. They're all girls, I've sent some pictures of them as I know you like seeing them. I should be able to meet in the summer, I've got some holiday built up that I can use. I'm coming for the Christmas Ball, don't worry about that. Anyone beside Hermione coming? Anything interesting happened at Hogwarts?
Love,
You Big Brother,
Charlie xx

Smiling, Willow refolds the letters and puts them in her bag "Anything interesting?" Draco asks. "Bill has been working on some new tombs they've discovered, Charlie has three new baby dragons." Willow responds, showing them the pictures Charlie sent. "Aww, they're so small." Blaise smiles. "Aren't they rather dangerous?" Hermione asks. "Yeah but Charlie has been trained in how to look after them safely." Willow tells her. "We better get going otherwise we're going to be late for Charms, we're learning how to make objects fly today." Theo tells them. Nodding, they all stand up and stat heading towards the Charms classroom.

Once in class, Professor Flitwick puts them all into pairs to practice. Hermione being paired with Ron, Willow with Theo and Draco with Blaise "Now, don't forget that nice wrist movement we've been practicing! Swish and flick, remember, swish and flick. And saying the magic words properly is very important, too. Never forget Wizard Baruffio, who said 's' instead of 'f' and found himself on the floor with a buffalo on his chest." Professor Flitwick tells them. Willow waves her wand, without saying anything, and makes her feather start flying "Well done Miss Mikaelson, excellent work! Ten points to Slytherin." Professor Flitwick tells her. Willow blushes slightly as the boys ruffle her hair "Nice one Wills." Draco smiles. "Wingardium Leviosa!" Ron shouts, waving his arm widely. "You're saying it wrong. It's Wing- gar -dium Levi- o -sa, make the 'gar' nice and long." Hermione tries to help. "You do it, then, if you're so clever." Ron snarls. Hermione rolls up the sleeves of her cloak "Wingardium Leviosa!" she enchants, flicking her wand. The feather rises off the desk and hovers above them "Oh, well done! Everyone see here, Miss Granger's done it too!" Professor Flitwick tells the class.

Willow walks with Hermione and the boys behind Ron, Harry and their dorm mates "It's no wonder no one can stand her, she's a nightmare, honestly." Ron tells Harry. Hermione's face drops as she pushes past Harry and Ron, tears streaming "I think she heard you." Harry tells Ron. "So? She must've noticed she's got no friends." Ron responds. Willow glares and storms in front of the two boys, Draco, Blaise and Theo following "You are a real arse, you know that? Hermione does have friends! She has me, Theo, Draco and Blaise. She is a better person than you will ever be Ronald. You'll be lucky that I don't write a letter to your Mother about how you're treating Hermione." Willow glares, storming off after Hermione with the boys following. Willow follows Hermione's scent to the girls bathroom "We can't go in there." Draco says. "Who cares? Come on." Willow tells him, leading the boys in. They go over to a cubicle where they hear Hermione crying "Mione? It's me and the boys, can you come out?" Willow asks. The door unlocks and opens, the four friends seeing Hermione in tears "Oh Mione." Willow says, pulling her into a hug.

The boys join them, wrapping their arms round the two girls "Don't listen to him Mione, you have the four of us. You're our friend and nothing is going to change that." Draco tells her. "Yeah, Ron would be lucky to have a friend like you." Blaise agrees. "You're smart, kind and funny." Theo adds. "Ron is wrong Mione, you're one of the best friends ever." Willow finishes. By the end of it, Hermione is crying for a whole other reason "Thanks guys, it means a lot." she tells them. "We mean every word of it." Theo tells her with a smile. Willow grabs some tissue and gently wipes Hermione's tears away "There, don't worry about what anyone says or thinks about you Mione. You're a talented young witch and one of us." she tells her, making Hermione smile. "I love you guys, you're the best friends I could have." Hermione tells the four of them, all of them having a group hug. "How about we skive the rest of class today and stay in here? Willow and Hermione are already ahead and can help us catch up if need be." Blaise suggests. "Only this once, I don't feel like seeing Ron again today." Hermione nods.
