08:00-09:00 Breakfast and cabin inspections

I DON'T KNOW WHY. But when I woke up the first thought and song that popped in my head was What A Feeling by Irene Cara. A song from 1983. Then I remembered how often Percy listens to Green Day. I like their music, but it got too repetitive listening to it all the time. I've gotten used to it and I don't really mind anymore. Then again, I like pop music, something Percy absolutely cannot stand for long periods of time, especially when I blast it. Percy thinks my taste in music is weird. Going from super emo to partying to something wholesome. The genre of gymnastics that is my taste in music.

But I shouldn't be complaining about how much he listens to Green Day because I've watched Finding Nemo so many times, I've memorized the entire script. Percy found it so annoying because I literally cried actual tears when someone would turn it off while I was watching it. Since then, he erased the movie from his memory. On the bright side, Smelly Gabe only let me watch it that many times because it kept me quiet, mostly.

09:00-10:30 Ancient Greek

As I was aggressively scrubbing the shower stalls, Connor came and bothered me. "What's with the bags under your eyes?"

"Gee, I wonder what would've caused that...."

10:30-11:00 Store checks

Store checks went as their usual, just check, check and rechecking stock. Putting it in place and other such matters having Chiron or Mr. D check to see if the job was done properly. The Aphrodite kids always did well on the first try. Just like how Silena Beauregard, their head counselor, was the strictest whenever she'd carry out cabin inspections. Aside from Evelyn and Lacy, Silena is one of the more nicer girls in that cabin. Should anything happen to Silena, Drew Tanaka was next in line for head counselor. I fear for them.

11:00-12:00 Javelin throwing

Organizing all the armor and just singing Beyond The Sea by Bobby Darin. If you know, you know.

"Somewhere beyond the sea. Somewhere waiting for me. My lover stands on golden sands and watches the ships that go sailing..."

12:00-12:30 Greek Mythology

I found myself drifting towards the infirmary not really sure what I wanted to do. Make the beds? Organize the supplies? Wipe the windows? Sweep the floors?

I opted for windows, floors and dusting. What if Chiron or the Apollo cabin had some sort of organized chaos when it came to the art of healing?

12:30-1:30 Lunch

As I ate my burger I was just jamming out to music in my head. A party of one up in there. Just the chorus of Bowling For Soup's 1985 playing over and over again in my head.

"Since Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, way before Nirvana. There was U2 and Blondie . Her two kids in high school, they tell her that she's uncool. Cause she's still preoccupied with 19, 19, 1985."

Just closing my eyes, eating a burger, Dr. Pepper, bobbing my head and singing the chorus. I'm on cloud nine over here.

Tantalus didn't look too happy about that, but what's he gonna do? His only job is to keep us alive until they can find someone to replace him that's more fit for the job. Or at least until summer's over and I wouldn't have to see his face for another nine months.
