A/N: Once again I am sorry for the delay. I'm just gonna be straight up with you guys. I had some serious writers block and I recently got my exam results so that was a bucket full of stress that I didn't need. As always I hope that you guys enjoy, thanks for sticking with me and please be honest and give me constructive criticism.
I readjust the skirt of my dress as I perch myself on a white, extremely expensive chair next to Sebastian in the banquet hall of the manor. All of the guests are chattering happily whilst they locate their seats. My hand is held firmly in Sebastian's as it has been since the ceremony. It's as of he doesn't want to let go of me, as if he's afraid of losing me almost. I glance over at the devil himself and smile shyly when I find that he has been staring avidly down at me for quite a while. He squeezes my hand reassuringly, grinning widely.
"Half way through the ball we're going to sneak out so that I can properly make you my wife for all eternity" Sebastian leans into my ear and whispers these words with a slight smirk upon his perfectly shaped lips. "I can't wait until I can claim your body again" He susserates, running his free hand teasingly down my side. I sharply inhale and a quiet squeak leaves my puckered lips. My cheeks burn brightly when his hand reaches its destination and gently squeezes my buttocks.
"Not here, Sebastian" I hiss, slapping his hand away and hurriedly straightening my dress. He chuckles lowly before placing a tender kiss to my cheek.
"Do you two lovebirds mind saving that for later?" I hear the deep aggravated voice of my cousin as he sits on a chair next to me, accompanied by Lizzie. Sebastian immediately pulls away from me and diverts his attention to the twins whom are sat on the other side of him. A quiet grunt of dissatisfaction leaves my mouth at the loss of contact, however his hand still remains in mine.
......................
The night swiftly continues in a blur of new faces, an awful lot of alcohol and exotic foods with an assortment of new dances (Sebastian's toes must be in terrible pain after my clumsy feet trampled over them all night long). Finally, Sebastian leans over to me and winks once. My heart beats rapidly against my chest as I stand up and shakily lift the front of my dress slightly. I compose myself and turn towards Sebastian, but he has somehow disappeared. I let out a sigh and make my way through the crowd of guests in search of him. Trembling breaths escape my mouth when I eventually reach Sebastian whom is stood at a set of doors that lead to the kitchen (How on earth did he get there so rapidly?).
"Somebody is eager" I giggle quietly as I observe him rocking back and forth on the balls of his feet impatiently. He steadily closes the short distance between us and kisses the pale skin of my forehead.
"I can't wait for you to finally be mine" He whispers in my ear, taking hold of one of my gloved trembling hands.
"I always was yours" I smile up at him, nibbling my bottom lip incessantly. He quickly places a gentle kiss of reassurance to the back of my hand before pulling us out of the ballroom entirely. We hurriedly walk through the empty, dark kitchen and emerge in the grand Phantomhive gardens, which are coated in darkness. We continue to walk for a while and I follow Sebastian diligently, trying to calm my breathing whilst my growing anxiety begins to overtake me. I can feel it almost drowning me.
Suddenly, Sebastian halts completely in the middle of Ciel's rose bushes; causing me to stumble into his back. In response his spare arm carefully takes hold of my waist to steady my clumsy, nervous wreck of a body.
"Are you alright?" He asks, staring down at me with concern evident in his maroon orbs. His voice is soft and I nod swiftly in reply in fear of my voice betraying my cowardice. "Right, I need you to hold on to me and close your eyes. Make sure that your grip is tight" He states, wrapping his other arm around my slim frame reassuringly. Once again I nod, and slide my arms around his middle. I hug him as tightly as I can, resting my cheek on his suit jacket.
The instant that my eyes are closed I feel us leave the ground. I let out a shriek and strengthen my hold on Sebastian. A low chuckle escapes his lips and the wind whips through my hair, as I hear the beating of what must be huge wings. Timidly, I open one eye and glance up at Sebastian. Both of my eyes widen in shock and awe when they land on the black, feathery wings that have sprouted out of his back. I cast my eyes to his face and our eyes meet for a moment. His glow a marvelous magenta under the light of the moon.
"I told you to keep your eyes closed" He smirks, redirecting his gaze in the direction that we are currently travelling.
"Do you seriously think that I'm going to listen to you, Bassy?" I chuckle, erupting into full blown laughter when he glares down at me and mutters under his breath about how much he hates Grell.
"You're lucky that I love you, otherwise I'd drop you at this moment" He sighs and kisses the top of my head gently.
"Love you too, darling" I smile up at my husband. My knight in black armour. My angel of darkness. I continue to stare up at him in admiration and study his features fully. His sharp nose and jawline. The way that the moon makes his pale skin almost glow. His soft, plump lips that are all mine. And his blood red eyes that emit a light of their own in the crepuscular night that surrounds us. Another sigh leaves my lips as I wonder what in hell I did to deserve this man, whom is currently clutching my small body against his whilst we soar through the night sky towards our future together.
As we fly into the darkness.
