✧Reenactment of A Forgotten Childhood✧

"You're lucky I bought enough for two people." Hudson remarked.
Craig was mad that Hudson bought food again when they were suppose to save money for a brand new car.
"Tomorrow is Saturday right?" Craig checked the bottom corner of his Pad for the date.

"Yea, why though?" Hudson had already stuffed his mouth the the delicious food.
"Any plans tomorrow?"

"Yes, I am going to go go-karting with my sister tomorrow. She's really good at it. I don't know why out of everything this." Hudson explained.
"Ok." Craig replied. He then entered and created a contact for Gemini's number which she gave him earlier.

{Hello, Gem! :D}

{This is Craig right?}

{Yeah, are you free tomorrow afternoon?}

{I guess so. I was planning on heading to the cafe to study.}

{You're kinda boring than before. You always study now}

{What did I do before?}

{Right....}
{Hmm?}

{You usually go to the park together with me for walks}

{Huh? Oh, when we were in elementary school like around grade 6...}
{Yeah! How about doing that tomorrow? Hudson has plans}

{Uhh, sure I guess.}

{Yay! (◍•ᴗ•◍) Remember to bring a jacket or scarf along. It's autumn now}

{Will do ✧(。•̀ᴗ-)✧}

Craig chuckled at Gemini's reaction.
"Hmm? What are you laughing at?" Hudson asked.
"Nothing, I'll come eat the food." Craig got up and headed to the table.

[Saturday, 12:54pm]

Craig had gotten ready in the morning and left the house early for breakfast. Hudson had already left in the morning with his sister to visit his nephew and niece along with his brother in-law. They went to eat breakfast earlier than him. While waiting for Gemini, he scrolled through the news.

"Seems like a person got jailed for murdering...again."
"Craig! I'm here!" Gemini called out to him.
Craig turned to look beside him, from afar he could see Gem's dull amethyst-coloured jacket.

"Good afternoon, Gem. Looks like you listened to my advice."
"I'll have to. My mom reminded me a lot to wear a jacket."
They both started walking towards the park.

"How's your family right now? I heard you got a little sister. How old is she though?"
"She'll be turning 7 this year. Next month is her birthday." Gemini explained.

"September what?" Craig inquired.
"September 14."
"I'll try to get her a gift. What would she like..."

"Maybe a little dress? She likes to play dress-up with me during the weekend. She has got a cold though so she can't go out for a while. I am sure she would love to join us for a walk."

Craig was silent for a while and started walking.
"I've got an idea for her birthday. Why not allow her to celebrate her birthday at the little cafe in the park? She would love the clear lake's view." Craig suggested.

Gemini stopped walking. Craig turned around and approached her.
"Why did you stop walking?"
"Your idea was a brilliant idea. I'll tell my parents about it at home." Gemini clapping her hands.

"Thank you then. Come on let's go." Craig pulled her by the hand and ran towards the lake which was a few meters away. Gemini didn't like being pulled by the hand but she knew what it was for so she allowed.

Upon reaching the centre of the park where the lake resided, he squatted down to look at the water.
"Don't try to push me in."
"Fine, Craig. It would be funny to like I did before."

"Funny...You were lucky I could swim or else you will be somewhere secured."
Gemini sat down beside him. "The ground is surprisingly clean." She complimented.

"It will have to be or else who would want to sit down on the floor."
"A germaphobe or person obviously." She suggested sarcastically.
"Fair enough, the koi fish are very beautiful."

Gemini crawled forward and looked at the fish. "Look, Stella and Nyx. Remember when we were in high school we came here and named them."

"Yes. I find it funny you don't remember when we were kids like less than 6 years old..."
"Huh? We knew each other when we were 6? I don't remember..."
'Of course you don't...' Craig reminded himself.

Gemini took out some fish food.
Craig noticed that. "Huh! You brought fish food along! How did you know!"
"Because this park is the only park and it has a lake."
"...Logical enough for my brain to translate."

Craig got up and headed to a tree. He stood underneath it and watch the leaves fall on his face. Meanwhile, Gemini fed the fish some of the food she brought along. After that, she zipped the packet and stood up looking over at Craig lying face down on the grass.

"Watch the insects crawl into you." Gemini teased him.
Craig got up immediately. "Now, thank you for reminding me. Now what shall we do?"
"Play Cheshire?" Gemini stated.
"Sure. Ok, I'll be Cheshire and you're Alice. I will ask a few questions about Literature and you close your eyes, ok?"

"Sure."
Gemini closed her eyes while Craig moved somewhere not far but not near either and stood there,
"Alice, Dear, Who wrote the Marvelous Tale of Macbeth,said Cheshire?"
Gemini answered. "Was it Shakespeare, sire?"

"Excellent, a left." He hinted. Gemini moved forward to the left and made sure she would not crash into anything or anyone.
"Next question, Alice. What is the poetry version of paragraphs, said Cheshire?"

Gemini thought for a while. "Uhh...Is it stanzas, sire?"
Craig hinted again. "A little forward."
Gem walked in front and was directly in front of Craig. She heard his voice loud and clear.

"What age did you lose your memory, said Cheshire."
Gemini was confused. "Lose my memory and that isn't related to English Literature."

Craig sighed. "I'll change it. What was the place where Juliet died, said Cheshire."
"The old family tomb where she stabbed her heart after her beloved Romeo poisoned himself to join Juliet,dear sire."

Craig smiled. "No more hints, open your eyes now."
Gemini removed her hands from her eyes and saw Craig in front of her.
