Well, let's just say that after that everything went back to normal. With a little surprise though.
Craig and Gemini decided to get married after they graduated from college, they were over-excited.
"Geez, you guys got to stop bragging about that..." Herman sighed before taking another sip from his cup.
"Unfortunately for you, we won't." Craig chuckled at him before pulling Gemini closer.
Herman stared at them with sheer contempt about their idea. "Don't bring me into this."
"We aren't bringing you into this, Herman. Don't worry." Gemini smiled at him.
He sighed before placing his cup down. "Well, I suppose I'm happy for the both of you."
"Thank you Herman for being a third-wheeler in me and Gemini's relationship." Craig smirked.
"I'm currently resisting the urge to grab you and throw you across the room." Herman replied
"Damn."
"Yes, damn."
"..."
"Stop arguing, please." Gem sighed with a disappointed tone. Craig immediately panicked.
"Sorry, Gem. I was just talking to him for a bit so..."
Herman stared blankly at them before taking a sip from his cup again. "Tsk, lovebirds and their talk."
Gemini stood up abruptly. "Herman, I swear...I'm going to actually throw you across the damn room!—"
Well, they got married and all. They thought of buying their own house and eventually...
They had finally bought a little house in a calm residence. Craig hung a painting he made on the wall. "I remember I gave it to you when I won the competition." He chuckled.
"I remember. It's still as beautiful as always though~" she crossed her arms and looked at it while smiling. "We should hang-"
"Mum, sissy is sulking again." The little boy tugged Gemini's shirt and looked up at her.
Gem sighed and looked at her oldest daughter before walking towards her.
"Nyla, I know you want to draw but not now. You must first arrange your new bedroom and then you can draw on the table."
Nyla sniffed and turned to look at her mum. "I wanna draw a landscape...i could even hang it in the wall..."
Gem stared blankly at Nyla. "Does the word 'later' exist in your dictionary, dear?" Nyla nodded. "It does."
"Then listen to that word."
Nyla stopped sulking and stood up. "Ok..." Craig tapped Gem's shoulder. "Your sister and father want to come visit us. Is that alright?"
"It's my family so of course it's alright." Gemini nodded. Craig smiled excitedly before heading to the kitchen.
"I'm going to prepare the best dessert ever for them~"
"Craig, you don't know how to bake."
"Oh. I may have forgotten that...heh..." He chuckled awkwardly before walking back to the living room.
Nyla stood up and carried a box of her things before walking towards her own room.
"How come I have to share a room with her?" The little boy, Nathan, asked.
"Saves space." Gemini replied before finishing up with the decor in the living room.
Nathan stared at his mom blankly before sighing and dragging his box of items into the shared room...
A few hours later, a knock on the door interrupted the silence. Craig went over to the door and opened it.
"Evening, father and sister-in-law!" He greeted them with a smile before inviting them in.
"Gemini is in the kitchen with the kids baking. Hopefully everything is doing well."
Silence filled the room for a moment before an annoyed sigh came from the kitchen.
Nyla walked out with a tray of biscuits. "Nathan has broken three eggs. Mum is angry."
"3?" /Craig/
"Yes, 3." /Nyla/
They stared at each other awkwardly for a while. "Nyla, stay here with your aunt and grandfather. I'll go see—"
"Nathan, stop breaking the eggs. Do you have fingers or not?! You're not some cartoon character!" /Gem/
"Gem, chill out or I'll put you in the freezer." /Craig/
"How would I fit?" /Gem/
Craig shrugged. "I don't know, I'll just put you inside?" Gemini stared at him blankly.
"Dad, do my hands have oil?" /Nathan/
"You're not a reservoir, Nathan. No, your hands do not have oil." Craig crossed his arms.
"What's a reservoir?" Nathan looked up at Craig who just responded with a light-hearted chuckle.
"Water." /Craig/
"Ah, right. Water." /Nathan/
"The most important thing of life. Water." /Nathan & Craig/
"What's wrong with you two."
/Gemini/Craig grabbed Nathan's hand and led him too the living room. Gemini looked at them and sighed before following them.
