"Craig, I want to ask you something. After we graduate, can we marry?" Gem asked mischievously.
Craig was easily flustered by this sort of things. "Well, uhm, sure. Why though?" He was curious, and it might have not been a good idea to be.
"So we can see a little child with grey eyes and honey brown hair like you." She chuckled.
Then it struck him. "...I...." He could not think right after what she said. "Sorry if it was sudden. My dear mother said if I loved someone, I should tell them."
Craig chuckled happily. "I'm glad you listened to her. Mrs Pisces is another work of art with a different meaning." He said.
"What do you mean by that?" She asked.
Craig sat down beside Gemini
and patted her head.
"I don't know if I should tell this but...your step mother has been drugging you with a hallucigenic meaning you will hallucinate things at times and feel sleepy.
Often leading to loss of memory." He admitted.
Gemini looked at him for a while. "My step-mother has been drugging me...for the past 3 months?" She muttered. "She is the reason I have been seeing those things..." Craig looked at her confused. "What things?" He asked. "Selene, my friend..." She blurted out.
"Selene? Oh your online friend?" He asked. "Yeah, is she real?" Gem wondered. "Since when did you chat online?" He questioned. "I never...it's just flashes of memories about me texting her appear when I sleep or wake up." Gemini was terrified.
Gemini started sobbing. "I didn't trust her...yet I accepted her as part of my family...and she does this to me...what did I do to her..." She covered her shining pastel lilac eyes that had tears streaming out with her hands.
Craig immediately hugged her. "Hush, Gem. I will tell the police about this. But first I need evidence...I wish I recorded that conversation..." He strayed his hands through her ash blonde hair and played with it. "Relax." He told her. "I don't know how to tell my dad...he will definitely not believe me."
"I can help you, just tell your dad. It doesn't matter if he believes or not. I will find hard evidence for it." He got down on the floor, kneeled and held her hand. "I-i don't know...she just doesn't like me. I took the time my father gave her." Gem cried.
Craig knee someone was eavesdropping in them. He got up and slammed the door open. Mrs Pisces was startled and tried to get away. "You don't need to pretend you didn't hear anything, Mrs Pisces." Craig stared at her.
"Seems like you know about what I did to her." Mrs Pisces laughed menacingly. Gemini quickly grabbed the phone in her table side and called the police. Meanwhile, Mrs Pisces grabbed a switch knife out of her purse and attacked Craig.
Craig skillfully dodged every blow she gave except for one to his arm. "Damn it..." He muttered. Mrs Pisces attempted to stab his arm. He used his other hand and grabbed her arm. "Try to act tough, young man. No one is coming for you-"
-thunk-
Mrs Pisces collapsed to the floor. Gemini was standing behind her with a book about algebra. "How-How could you, Gemini..." Mrs Pisces started showing tears. "I didn't know when they said Algebra makes you cry actually did." Gemini put down the book.
Craig held back his laughter. "It makes us cry mentally not psychically." He said. The police arrived moments later and arrested Mrs Pisces. "Let me go! I tell you, she is framing me!" She resisted. Gemini his behind Craig. "I'm not lying! She tried to drug me!" Gemini said in her most pitiful voice.
The head officer approached Gemini. Craig's instincts told him to block the officer. "Don't need to worry, I just want to ask her a few questions." The officer said angrily. "If you have any questions to ask, ask me." Craig insisted.
"Ugh, fine." The officer interrogated Craig and Gemini. They also discovered the drug in Gemini's medicine and water. "Well, that concludes the interrogation. Thank you for allowing me to take up your time." The officer stood up and showed his hand. Craig shook it. "You are welcome, Officer."
The police left and Gemini's father was found unconscious in the pantry nearby. They woke him up and administered medicine to cure his dizziness and drowsiness. Gemini explained everything that happened to him. "What! She has been drugging you! How dare she, just because I spend more time with you."
"I will find every single bit of incriminating evidence against her. I promise." Mr Pisces said. Gemini was glad her father believed her. Craig smiled happily knowing his Gem would be safe...
