'Beep.. beep.. beep'

Colby groaned, and pressed 'stop' on the alarm he had set for his phone.
"Jake," Colby called out, grabbing Jake's hand from around his waist. "Get up," Colby rolled out of bed, and grabbed Jake's hand again.

"Mmh," Jake grumbled.
"Jake, it's noon, we're meeting Sam at one, we gotta get ready." Colby sighed, and shook Jake's hand.
"Okay, okay. I'm up." Jake said, and he took his free hand and rubbed his eyes.

The pink haired boy sat up, and Colby let go of his hand.
"I'm gonna go get dressed, and we should leave when we're ready. Sam's usually early." Colby suggested, and Jake nodded.

Colby left, and Jake stood up, and walked to his closet. He picked out a crop top, and baggy black pants. He changed, brushed his hair and teeth, and waited back on his bed for Colby.

"Are you decent?" Colby asked as he knocked on Jake's door.
"Yeah." Jake replied, and Colby opened the door.
"C'mon, let's go." Colby stuck out his hand, for Jake to grab, which he did.

The boys walked out of the house together, and to Jake's car. Jake got in the drivers seat, and Colby in the passenger.
Colby reached over and grabbed Jake's hand again,
"What is with you and holding my hand?" Jake chuckled.
"Oh. Sorry," Colby took his hand back,
"No, I didn't mean it in a bad way, I was just curious. I don't mind at all, it gives me a sense of direction." Jake smiled, and interlocked his fingers with Colby's once more.

"Well, we're here," Jake sighed, and got out of the car.
He walked to the back of the car, and met colby there.
"Sam!!" Colby smiled, his face lit up, and he ran over to a blond boy sitting alone on a picnic table,
"Colby!!" Sam smiled, his face lighting up as well.

The two ran into each others arms,
"I missed you so much!" Colby laughed, and pulled away from the hug.
"I missed you too! Where's Jake?" Sam asked, but then saw a boy with pink hair walking up behind Colby.
"Uhh.. hi.." Jake smiled awkwardly at the blond and stuck out his hand for a handshake, looking at the smaller boy who gave him a weird look.
"Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm Sam!" Sam said, rejecting the handshake and pulling Jake into a tight hug.

Jake looked worriedly at Colby, who chuckled.
"I'm Jake-?" Jake looked like a confused and scared puppy, so Colby bursted out into laughter, and Sam pulled away and gave Colby a look.
"Shut up, Cole." Sam said snobbish.
"No!" Colby continued to laugh.

"Shut up, Colby!" Jake laughed along now, leaving Sam the only one with a straight face.
"Let's go sit down and talk?" Sam suggested, and the others agreed.

"So, Jake, how'd you find Colby?" Sam asked, as he sat down on the table,
"At the flower grove. I was going there to watch the sunrise, I love it there, and I saw him sitting where I normally sit, crying. I went to check up on him, and offered to take him back to my place."
"Oh, and you just trusted him like that??" Sam asked Colby.
"Well.. yeah, I guess. It was worth it, though." Colby smiled.
"True. Well, I promised my mom I'd be home by no later than two, so I gotta go. Cya later?" Sam asked, and the two other boys nodded.

Sam walked away, and Jake asked Colby if he wanted to go to the mall, to get things for his bed, which he gladly accepted.

Jake drove Colby all the way to the mall, and took Colby in. Colby stopped in most of the stores, and Jake just groaned as they walked into every single one.
"I'm gonna go into Spencer's, you coming?" Colby asked, but Jake declined.
"I'll sit out this time," Jake replied, and smiled. Colby walked into the store, leaving all his bags by Jake.
"Uhh, excuse me?" Jake looked up from his phone, and saw a girl who looked to be the same age as him.
"Yeah?" Jake asked, and the girl smiled.
"I'm Katrina! Your really cute, uhhh.. did you think we could maybe go out for lunch sometime?" Katrina asked.
"Uhh.. sorry, but.. I'm gay." Jake awkwardly smiled,
"Oh! I'm so so sorry!! I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable!" Katrina immediately started apologizing.
"No, no, no! It's okay! I promise! I'm fine! You actually took that much better than most people do, and I thank you for that." Jake genuinly smiled, and Katrina did back.
"Glad to hear. Cya 'round?" The sweet girl asked, and Jake nodded.

Colby then walked over and hugged Jake.
"Your.. gay?" He asked Jake.
"Yeah.." Jake nodded
"I still support you, Jake. No matter what. You saved me. I owe it to you." Colby smiled.
"Thank you, Colby." Jake smiled back.
"Of course. Now, let's go back home." Colby smiled, and grabbed Jake's hand.
"You.. don't think it's weird to hold my hand..? Since.. you know I'm gay, now?" Jake asked.
"No! Of course not!" Colby gave him a concerned look, but continued to walk, pulling Jake along with him.
"Oh.. okay." Jake smiled, a true smile, and walked alongside Colby.

"Hey, wanna go somewhere tomorrow? I have someplace planned, I love going there, and I'd love to take you." Jake asked Colby, as they got out of the car.
"Sure!" Colby smiled, happy at the fact that he gets to go somewhere with Jake. Colby didn't really know what was going on with him and Jake, but he feels something different than what he does when he's with Sam. What is this feeling?
"Great." Jake smiled, and both boys went inside for the night.
