After half hour Lins friends came back and picked us up. Luckily the driver was sober so I wasn't scared to get in, I looked at my glasses the entire car ride and started zoning out.
"Come on we're home!" I flinched, Lin was holding her hand out for me and I grabbed it gently being pulled out the car. We said thank you to her friends and I said bye to her as she entered her apartment. I walked up the stairs, my feet were sore so I took off my shoes and was walking barefoot. I opened my door and locked it, it was dim and smelled nice. Much better than gasoline. I dropped my keys and belongings on the counter and plopped into my bed slowly falling asleep, thank god I didn't have makeup on. I let myself fall asleep, it was so quiet.

I woke up to my phone buzzing on the counter, it was Kenji my other best (guy) friend. "Good morning ❤️" the text read. I smiled and sent him a simple heart. I sat my phone down and went to go brush my teeth, quickly glancing at my sunglasses. I remembered what happened last night and sighed.
I felt so groggy, my head was pounding and so was my chest. "Tom Kaulitz, you're very annoying." I spoke to myself as I spat the toothpaste out into the sink and washed my toothbrush. I went into the kitchen and cooked myself some eggs, too lazy to make myself a full meal. "I'll just get coffee." I got dressed into something casual and closed my door behind me locking it. I went to the nearest cafe and ordered a coffee. I stood waiting for my drink when I felt someone staring at me from behind. "So you like your coffee with extra sugar huh?" I froze. There he was, that deep german accent was easy to recognize. I turned around. "What are you now, a stalker?" I looked at him pretty disturbed. He backed up at my look. "No.. I come here everyday." "Right.." I looked behind him and all around the cafe. "Where's your friends?" I looked up at him, his eyes were more beautiful in the warm lighting. What was I thinking!? I snapped out of it. "Oh.. they aren't here right now, just me I promise." He seemed less annoying now, he didn't make my ears ring he didn't seem like those play boys I usually met. Just a few hours ago he was calling me beautiful and being pushy and now he was giving me space and answering with such a soft voice?..

What's with this guy?

"Okay well. If you want we could sit together?" I can't believe I just offered that. I didn't even notice people were staring at us until now, or more so him. "I'd love that." His voice was so soothing it made my heart jump. I really did not want to fall for this guy especially this quick I don't even know anything about him! I grabbed my coffee and waited for him to order. Once we both got our drinks we sat down it was a little awkward. His leg was shaking and a lot of people were looking at us. Maybe he didn't like this attention. "Wanna go somewhere else?" I whispered. He looked in my eyes with such a soft look. "Please.." He whispered back and we both sat up and walked out. (You both already paid dont worry)
We decided to sit in a small alley, no one was around so it was fine. He took off his jacket and wouldn't let me sit down without the jacket being under me so my pants didn't get dirty. Why was he so weird before but now he's such a gentleman? He took a sip of his coffee and looked at me. "What?" He asked confused as to why I was staring. "Nothing it's just. You're acting differently, then last night I mean." He looked away and looked down at the floor, was he embarrassed? This was only the second time we've met so I can't act like I know how he usually acts but from last night til now theres been a huge change. Right now he'd be flirting or at least more confident if his friends were around.
"I'm not, I'm just a little tired. Why are you worried or something beautiful?" I cringed. "You know if you want to compliment a girl you shouldn't be so cocky like that." I paused. "Be nice be a gentleman and watch how that goes." He stared at me before laughing a weak and tired laugh. "Ahaha.. girls are always on me I don't even have to do anything. Just a smile and that's it." I frowned. "Well those girls like you because youre handsome, not because of your personality" I looked away and took a sip of my coffee not even realizing that I just called him that. "Wait.. so do you think im handsome?" I nearly spat out my drink. "Don't let that go to your head. I'm just.. saying. That's what they look for. Not who you truly are." He laughed. "I'm what they think I am, a 'handsome' racer who attracts thousands of girls no effort needed." I scoffed. "Right well all im saying is none of those girls actually give a shit about you." I felt a little bad for what I said but he was too cocky and it was getting annoying again.

It was quiet for a while. A little awkward even. "Why do you care about what those girls actually like about me." Are we still on this? "I don't, I find you really annoying but you've been pretty.. nice today. I don't know if you act bold and cocky for show or for the girls or for your friends but it won't get you anywhere. I don't care about you I just hate seeing you think youre so high and mighty." I turned to him, it looked like he was actually taking in what I had to say. "Alright.." He stood up and helped me up while I reached for his now dirty jacket.
"Be whatever personality you like the best Tom. Just know this personality is one I prefer, and I'm sure many other people would prefer it too. It actually feels genuine." I gave him his jacket and he looked down at me, his eyes were so mesmerizing I tried not to get trapped in them.
"I have to um, go." Tom looked at his phone and flipped it back into his pocket. He looked at me and gently moved a strand of my hair behind my ear, his hands were rough but so warm. "Right. Bye Tom." He smiled at me. "Bye Lina." My voice sounded so right when he said it. He walked out of the alley and I did the same after a bit of processing. So he really is just embarrassed to act like that around other people. Does he act like that with other girls?.. Am I maybe special?. I mentally slap myself, yeah right. I'm nothing like those skinny beautiful Japanese girls like Lin or that girl that was in Toms car last night. He probably just wants to be nice.

Why am I thinking so much into this? He's just a racer why should I care so much?
