the first, and possibly the last!

As we ran, we shot over are shoulders at are pursuers. I herd planes jets roaring being us as well. They'll be a problem!
let me tell you running, it was not easy to run, even with Erics help. My body was burnt , whipped, cut.

"Head for that building! Go, go!" Jade said as loud as she could. It probably was hard to talk, from those stings in her throat

We lunged into a building, and pushed up against the wall.

"Logan we need to-" Jade collapsed. "Ahhh."
"Carful Jade! You both need help." Eric said as he digged through a backpack he grabbed from the government base. "Oh here it is! Logan go to that room and strip. We got to do this fast! This building can't take much more gun fire. Good thing it's the weekend. Jade swallow this pill, and spread this cream on your whipped spots." Eric finished as I dragged my self to the other room.

"Logan hurry! Are you ready?" Eric asked.
"Ya I am." I said.

Eric walked in and spread a cream all over my body.
Instantly my burns started to disappear. I still had a lot of pain. But at least my skin wouldn't be damaged.
Next I put a cream on where I got whipped. It still hurt thoe

"Come on guy's! I got your armor here! We really need to go!" I stumbled back to the room that Jade and Eric were in.

"We got to be careful, we are close to the edge of the city, so we could be in trouble if we get cornered... we might have to jump off the city into junk land." Eric said as me and Jade struggled to get are armor on. "Hurry I here soldiers coming. And the planes are still pounding the building. Oh and you know if we have to jump into junk land, it's toxic down there and are armor won't protect us for long. And it's just gross down there."

We finally got are armor on. It kinda hurt to have it on, but we need it.

"Okay, let's head out. This building will collapse any second. And I see soldiers. And there closing in! Let's go!" Eric gestured to us to follow him.
We sprinted out the door as best as we could.

The sun glared down on us, as we ran.
Good thing are armor had built in air conditioning!

"Come on guy's faster!" Eric yelled.

The planes behind us where closing in. They started to rain bullets down onto us.
Most of them missed but the ones that hit, are armor stopped mostly.

"Rocket closing in!!" Eric dove to the side, but not fast enough.
The blast radios blasted Eric sky high.

"No! Eric." I screamed.

We watched him fall through the sky. He went out of sight after he fell past the city into junk land.

We ran to the edge of the floating city. But we could not see Eric below.

"Jade watch out!" I tackled her, right out of the way of a grenade.

I looked down to see a strange looking grenade at my feet.
Oh crap.
"Oh crap! Jade watch out! It's a gravity grenade!" We stood up and ran.
But we where to late, it made a sound like all air was sucked into it. Then it sent a matalic sounding vibration through the ground, and next thing I new me and Jade got lunched into the air.

We fell. I felt my self hit the ground my armor took most of thre shock. I looked up to see Jade not far behind.
But I saw she was going to miss the city.
I grabbed her arm as she fell past.

She screamed in pain. I felt bad but I was not going to let her fall.

"Logan, let me go. Stay up here and find a rebellion base." I herd guns loading behind me.

"Stand up slowly and put your hands behind your head!" I just laid there holding onto Jade.

"Jade, I'm not letting you go!" I said not daring to look behind me.

"Logan, I may never have a nuther chance!" That got me curious. "I like you."
I couldn't believe it! I was so happy. I put my mask up. As did Jade. I could ses tears in her beautiful eyes. Her face so amazing. I was so happy

"Ya ya. Say your goodbyes. Then stand up!" The solider said.

"Well after that I'm not letting you go!" I grabbed the edge of the city with my other hand and pulled,we fell twords the trash below.

As we fell I kissed her before it was to late.
