Eric's P.O.V

"Jade! We have several bogeys on our tail!" I panicked.
Jade sprinted over to the cockpit, "Gorge! Get over her! Your a good pilot, right?" Jade asked
Gorge stumbled over to us and started hitting buttons. "Guys get put of here all handle the piloting." Gorge ordered. Me and Jade ducked out of the cockpit, and strapped ourselves down.

We herd lots of shooting out side. Then we herd Gorge yell from the cockpit "guys the ship is going down, and there is no stopping it. We will all die because of the fusion bataray powering the ship! It's going to explode!" That got awful really fast.
"Is there any thing you can do?" I shouted over the rower of fire consuming the ship.
The ship alarms started blaring, giving us a warning that a crash was immanent. "There is one thing...... guys just keep up the good fight." I herd barley herd him tell us over the noise.
"Wait, what no!" Jade cried.

All at once the passenger section of the ship detached from the cockpit. Gorge along with the cockpit went down in a blazing inferno, exploding on the earth below.

The half of the ship the rest of us were in ejected our seats into the air, landing us safely on the ground below.

"Is very one okay?" Jade coughed out.
As the dust cleared from the explosion we saw the fighters that were chasing us speed away. That was good news, but we did just lose a good solider. And worst of all he was marry's brother.
I looked around to see all of us fine, fisickly, but not emotionally. It's amazing how much war effects you. We all were pretty shaken after that. But most of Marry was, she was kneeled down near the crash sobbing, hart broken, defeated.

Besides jade, Logan was the first to recover. "We're are we?" Logan muttered.
Jade walked over to Logan. "Pretty close to our destination, we're in kansas. The hidden army base where they are making the tanks is just a few miles from here." Jade stated.
"Well, we better get moving, because it looks like we are walking." I grumbled.

So we set off, all are joy gone for now.

We found our way to a ally way with two guys sitting at the end of the ally way by a fire.

This might sound stupid but we walked up to them. "Hay there yong ones, do you need a warm place to sit on this cold evening." The man in rags asked.
"Um ya we would love to." Jade said cunfused at the man's kindness, now of course it's probably a trap. But I don't care.
We sat around the fire with the two men. "Nice armor, I take it you are part of the rebellion?" The other older man asked.
"Yes, but I don't see how that's your business..." Marry spat.
The old man chuckled. "I have nothing against it. I actually found the rebellion. What's your name?" He asked Marry.
"Marry..." She muttered.
The old man smiled "it's such a beautiful name. You know I've read a good story about a girl named Marry."
"Oh ya, what's it called?" I asked.
He turned to me. "Oh you wouldn't know it. It's a book long forgotten. But, it's called the bible."
"I've actually herd about that book. Doesn't it talk about religion?" Logan asked
"Why yes. Would you like to hear about it." The old man asked.
Jade sighed. "We don't have anything better to do. We are all tired, so speakon."

And that led into a very deep conversation, that went on for two hours.

"So what do you think?"
Marry was the first to say something. "Yes, after my brothers death, it gets me thinking. Where do you go? But now you told me. And I mean this is big, but all give it a go. I could really use someone like that in my life."
"You know what, me to, all this death, suffering, pain, it all gets me thinking, I could die so quick. There's just no knowing how soon it will happen." Logan declared.
"I want to to. Don't know what happened to my family, I'm so cunfused. I need to. And where can I get a book like yours?"
The old man smiled so brightly it almost was blinding. "Me to, not just because every one else wanted to. I just genuinely want it for myself." I said
"Same" Jake agreed.
The old man got up and told us. "Well this is a wonder moment! Keep fighting for the Lord! And hear is a copy of my bible for you each."
"Thank you- oh wait I never got your name?" Jade said.
The old man finished handing out the books as he told us, "my name is Simon, this is my son Jhon."
We all stood and shook there hands. "It was great meeting you! Thank you so much, you truly have changed our life's."
"It was my pleasure!" Simon said "God bless you!"
"Thanks, you too." We said back as we walked away from that ally, changed people, full of hope once more.

Sorry if you don't like the religious stuff but if you don't like it then skip it when I do it. But I'm religious so ya.
