The Last Avatar and The Scarlet Witch

Criminals

Y/N and Bucky pack their stuff in a small backpack before the door is smashed open by a task force. 

Bucky and Y/N start fighting their way, only fighting to injure not kill. The two of them run and jump over onto the building across from them.

They roll before Bucky is suddenly attacked by a man in a cat suit. Y/N sends a blast of air his way before dragging Bucky.

"Run Buck!"

"Not without you kid!"

"I'll catch up!"

Y/N starts to fight their attacker as Bucky reluctantly runs away. Y/N blocks himself with a path of earth before sending a jet of water towards a helicopter.

He jumps down after Bucky, both of them running away as the guy in the cat suit chases them. Bucky steals a bike and Y/N jumps on behind him before they ride off.

The other man lands on a police car that is chasing after the father son duo. Bucky launches a device to ceiling, making them flip over. 

Rhodey lands down in front of Y/N and Bucky aiming his repulsor guns at them. More people surround them with guns and Y/N readies his powers. 

Bucky puts his hand on his arm, making Y/N turn to look at him. Bucky shakes his head and Y/N lets his powers dissipate.

"Congrats Igneos, you're a criminal now."

Y/N and Bucky are arrested and brought to a secure building. Steve, Tony, Sharon and Everett Ross lead them into cells. 

Natasha and Yelena are in an office watching as the two of them are psychological evaluated by some doctor.

"Hello, Mr. Barnes and Mr. Romanoff. I've been sent by the United Nations to evaluate you both. Do you mind if I sit? Your first names are James and Y/N right?"

Neither of them answer. 

"I'm not here to judge you. I just want to ask you both some questions. Do you know where you are, James? Y/N? I can't help if you don't talk to me?"

Y/N holds eye contact with him. Something about this man is telling Y/N not to trust him.

"My name is Bucky."

With Nat and Yelena, the two of them look at the blurry picture before realisation dawns on Nat's face.

"Why release this photo?"

"Get the word out, involve as many people as we can."

Yelena seems to get what Nat is implying.

"Someone framed them both."

"We tried to find Y/N for ages. Bucky wouldn't have gotten out without him. Someone wanted them out of hiding."

"But bombing the UN wouldn't mean they get them, we do...."

The two of them look at the screen before the cameras cut off. 

"What the hell is your plan?"

The man smirks.

"Why don't we discuss your home boys? Not Romania or Russia. Certainly not Brooklyn or the city, no. I mean your real home."

He removes his glasses before walking towards Bucky as he reads from a red book with a star.

"Longing."

Bucky shuts his eyes and snaps his head back.

"No."

"Rusted."

"Stop."

"Seventeen."

Bucky's metal arm trembles in it's restraint.

"Stop."

The man smirks, closing the book.

"Okay."

Bucky watches him carefully as he walks closer to Y/N. 

"Don't lay a finger on him."

"I won't."

The man stops by Y/N.

"See when you left. They needed an easier way to control him."

Zemo points at Y/N who can tell where this is going.

"Leave him alone."

"Water. Earth. Fire. Air. You are the Avatar."

Y/N's right eye turns half red, half blue while his left eye turns half green and half yellow. Each element covering a quarter of his body.

His cell breaks as he looks at the man in front of him. Desperate to save his son, Bucky breaks from his restraints before breaking the glass.  

"Leave him out of this and I will tell you what you need to know."

"What happened December 16th 1991?"

Natasha and Yelena eventually find the two of them as Y/N makes his way towards the roof, followed closely by Bucky as Y/N fights his way through the building. 

The four of them are in a huge abandoned warehouse after escaping. Y/N starts to gain consciousness and Bucky calls the two women over.

"How you feeling baby?"

"Like crap but me again."

Natasha walks over to him hugging him tightly which he returns before the others join in.

"They're going to be after me...us now."

"We were hoping you have a plan."

"I do."

Y/N smirks.
