Sea

The scent of the sea water offering my soul solace and serenity.

I marveled at the beauty of the blue ocean in front of me. The reflection of the sunlight on the sea adding a beautiful glow to it.

The symphony of the crashing waves, the warmth of the sun blessing my soul.

I touch the cold water slowly letting my fingers swirl around it fondly.

The sadness in my heart slowly fading with the comfort of the sea.

The melody of the wind, the innocent laughter of children offering me a sense of joy and peace.

It almost felt like heaven. Yet a bittersweet feeling settle itself in my heart.

I felt great comfort. But I fear the bitter memories in my mind still tormented my heart.

No matter which direction I went. No matter how much I tried to run away. It all came back to the endless sadness...
