"Mr. Boo, meet Miss Min.  Miss Min, this is Mr. Boo," said Ms. Seo.

Seungkwan and I nodded to each other, weirdly awkward.  We simply weren't used to hearing each other referenced to by our last names.

We'd been friends for years ever since the first horror/thriller movie we'd acted in together.  Since then, we'd acted in at least 8 more equally terrifying films.  I was often the murder and Seungkwan, the screaming, helpless victim.

We had no idea what we were doing together right now.

Our agents had really fucked up this time.  They'd wanted us to "branch out" and try a new genre, so they'd accepted a commercial offer for a designer perfume brand... a rather racy one.  Had the director even looked at our resumés?  Who in their right mind would cast two actors who loved to be covered in (fake) blood to pretend to be hot and sexy?

What a load of bullshit.

Thankfully, Seungkwan's agent and my agent knew we'd have to work on our... chemistry... so they'd arranged for duo acting classes with Ms. Seo.

"Good afternoon, Breanna," Seungkwan said.

I nodded stiffly.  "You as well, Seungkwan."

"Excellent that you know each other," Ms. Seo said, briskly.  "Both easier and harder for you.  I hope you are the professionals your agents have professed you to be."

"Of course we are, ma'am," Seungkwan replied.

"So I have heard that the ad will require a lot of skinship.  Do you both know what skinship is?"

We nodded.

"Great.  So I'd like you both to practice hugging each other naturally, just to start."

Seungkwan and I stared at each other.

This was so different from what we were used to experiencing.

As I stared into his eyes, I remembered filming a scene just last month:

Seungkwan sat on the ground, playing a bound and gagged prisoner.  A fake slash across his face splashed blood as he looked around frantically for an escape.  But there was no escape.  Just me standing above him, holding a machete that was already stained with blood and rust.

Ah, good times.

This time, his eyes weren't widened in fear, but conveying the absurdity of the situation.

We had to hug?

"Well?"  Ms. Seo grabbed our hands and put them together.  "Let's get on with it!  Hug!"

Stiffly, I put my arms around his middle and he put his arms over mine.  The situation was so absurd, I started giggling.  Me giggling made him laugh and him laughing made me laugh too.  So the two of us were hugging and laughing in the middle of a meeting room alone in front of a teacher.  Absurd.
