Penelope had sprinted as fast as she could however her short legs were no match to Colin's. She barely made it into the hotel before he had caught up with her.

"Penelope, please for the love of god slow down" Colin was out of breath.

"Go away" Penelope sniffled, not wanting to break down in front of him.

"Please let me explain" Colin pleaded.

"I trusted you; you were supposed to be there for me, always" Penelope chuckled. "How would you feel if you found out that all of the insecurities you had about yourself, then used them against you? I guess it's my fault really, why I would ever think I would be, your type of girl" Penelope spoke bluntly before storming away. Fran had caught up with her and followed her into the lift, as the doors closed, it was only then did she break down. Fran had to steady Penelope from falling over, she was distraught, how could he say that about her.

"Shh, it's okay" Fran tried to comfort Penelope as they made their way back to her room.

As the pair got into her room, Penelope collapsed onto her bed, petals still on the floor from last night.

"I thought he loved me" Penelope blubbered. Penelope was spiralling at this point; she had finally let her guard down and she was devastated.

"Listen, you need some tough love here okay. I am only saying this because I love you both" Fran spoke calmly. "What Colin said was horrible okay, and hiding the fact he slept with Marina, also shitty and you should punish him for that okay. However, do I think it's worth losing what you guys have over this, no" Fran continued. "I know my brother; he has never been as happy as he has been with you. He cares about you, what he said was a dick move, but people make mistakes. Has he given you any reason over the last week for you to believe he doesn't love you?" Fran asked.

All Penelope could do was shake her head.

"Please hear him out, Eloise and Marina are the villains here, not him" Fran tried to reassure Penelope.

Deep down she knew Fran was right, however it has heightened all the worries she had tried to forget about. She knew she needed to speak to Colin, she just needed some space.

"I'll go and speak to Colin, see what's going on. Please just run yourself a bath and try and relax" Fran smiled.

"Okay" Penelope sniffled.

As Fran left, Penelope shuffled over to the bathroom to run herself a bath. She didn't know how to feel. She was upset, Colin had hidden such important parts of his relationship with Marina from her, and had been very hurtful. However she knew she couldn't really be mad at him for sleeping with her a few weeks ago. He was single, however she was upset he hadn't told her. She knew the reason she was so upset was the fact this was over Marina. Penelope had hated her from the moment she got with Colin. Marina had the one thing in the world that Penelope wanted, Colin. So now that Penelope had him, was she really about to lose out to her again, she couldn't let Marina win.

After leaving Penelope's room, she made her way down to Benedict's room, in the hope Colin would be there. She knocked on the door and was met by Sophie on the other side.

"Is Colin here?" Fran asked.

Sophie nodded, "he's sat on the balcony" she added as she let Fran in.

Fran made her way out the balcony and sat down next to her brother. She could see he had been crying, hell, it looked like he was ready to ball his eyes out any minute.
