Wildflower – 5 Seconds of Summer

The rest of the flight went by pretty quickly, Penelope and Colin watched two more movies together, and Colin held Penelope's hand when the plane landed. He had been so caring the entire flight, It warmed Penelope's heart.

They were all walking through security to gather their bags when Penelope felt the need to thank Colin.

"Thank you for today, honestly It means so much" Penelope whispered; she didn't want everyone to know Colin had needed to walk her to the toilet for ten hours.

"Of course, Pen. Anytime" Colin winked. It was bad enough they had landed in a climate that was no place for Penelope's complexion. She didn't need Colin to make her anymore red than she was going to become in the next two weeks.

They all gathered their bags and walked out to the minibus that was there to take them to the hotel. They all squeezed in, Penelope had been pushed between Eloise and Kate.

"I am so sorry about earlier Pen; It completely slipped my mind" Eloise blurted out.

"Honestly El, let's just forget about it" Penelope reassured.

"You and Colin looked rather close on the plane, anything you would like to share" Kate whispered.

"Oh no, we're just friends, I get a little anxious on planes he was just calming me down" Penelope explained. She didn't want people thinking there was something going on between the pair, she feared what Colin would think of it all.

"Hmm, didn't I see him share his desert with you at lunch though?" Kate winked at her; Penelope was blushing profusely by this point.

"WHAT, Colin never shares with anyone" Eloise shouted, unfortunately for Penelope, it was loud enough for Benedict, Sophie, and Colin to hear from the row in front.

"Am I hearing this correct brother, are you sharing food with us now?" Benedict was toying with his brother, and Colin was clearly not amused.

"Sharing with Penelope, not you. Anyway, Penelope didn't like hers, so I had hers and we shared mine, so she still lost out on half a piece of cake" Colin laughed.

Penelope changed the subject, and everyone was mumbling to each other until they reached the resort. What they saw as they arrived blew everyone away. It was spectacular. It was one of the most luxurious hotels she had ever seen. You could see out to the beach through the entrance, and it was everything Penelope had ever imagined. Everyone emptied out from the minibus and queued at the desk to check in. Everyone had stood in their pairs, with Colin and Penelope being last to check in.

"Next" the concierge shouted.

"Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington" Colin told the concierge.

"Here are your keys, floor seven room eighty-one. You have been slightly upgraded by the looks of it, you now have a larger balcony with a hot tub and a sea view. As you were the only pair that requested separate beds you were the only ones to qualify for the upgrade, hope you enjoy" the man explained gleefully.

Benedict and Eloise had overheard and were distraught to hear that Penelope and Colin now had a hot tub in their room. The stars were really aligning with Penelope's plan. She really had no excuse not to try now. They were sharing a room in a romantic beach resort, with a bloody hot tub on their balcony. It was the perfect setting, she just had to build up the courage.

Penelope, Colin, Eloise, Phillip, Benedict, and Sophie all squeezed in the lift and got off at their respective floors. Colin and Penelope were on the top floor as they had the larger room. Benedict and Sophie were the last ones to leave the pair in the lift. As the door opened Benedict decided to give the pair some unsolicited advice.
