"Justin!!" yelled Justina as her brother convulse on the floor, she tried to help him but she had no choice but to withdrew her hand. he is burning up, just like he was when the so called king held them against the wall "he is burning up"
"let me" the warlock said as he placed his hand on the boy's head. he stopped convulsing "we need to calm his temperature" he looked at Ryan "Ryan if you please"
Ryan lifted the boy and placed him on the dinning table "we need to stop doing this to where we eat" he chuckled
"not now Wolfie" scolded Lilith
"Lilith can you lower his temperature for me?" asked Wasim
"of course, anything for you warlock"
Justina had a skeptical look as Lilith held her brother's hand
"wow he is hot" exclaimed Lilith "and I mean that in the most literal sense of the word hot, I mean his body temperature, not that he isn't hot the other way bu.... okay...I will shut up now" Ryan giggled, Elliott shook his head while Red gave her signature scoff.
"demon's are usually very cold" said Ryan to a skeptical Justina. she remembered touching Lilith and her skin was as cold as ice
"I'm not a demon" glared Lilith
"focus" scolded Wasim calmly. even though he said it in a calm way, the others could still hear the scolding in his voice. the warlock placed a hand on the boy's forehead, "he is far, too far, I can't reach him"
Justin screamed as he burst into flames, they all quickly shifted away from the flaming boy, every part of him was alight. he was on fire but he wasn't burning, neither was his clothes. Justina reached out her hand
"I wouldn't touch him if I were you" said the warlock "that's heavenly fire"
"human here, no speak supernatural" Justina gestured to herself.
"it's dragon fire in its purest form" said Lilith
"so he is a dragon?" she asked wondering how she was living with a dragon for Twenty years and didn't know it.
"no, there is only one dragon left and he is not it" said Elliott as Red glared at the flaming boy on the table, who looked peaceful with his eyes closed, yellow and blue flames engulfing him.
"we have to do something, I know the house is enchanted and all but if this continues, he might burn down the whole building" voiced Lilith
"can't you cool him down, you are cold right"
"if she touches him, she will become a pile of ash faster than you can say her name" said the warlock as he looked towards the door
"we should call him" said Ryan
"no, leave him alone" glared Red
"you are not his babysitter" retorted Ryan
"he is resting" red glared at Ryan
"he has been resting for a thousand years" Ryan glared back at her "if you ask me I think he has done enough resting"
"n...
"enough!!!" roared a voice that rumbled through the house. it was that same voice she heard before
"get out of my head warlock" the voice yelled, this time without any rumbling
"Arthur" said Wasim slowly "I wouldn't ask this of you if it wasn't dire"
"you ask a lot of things from me old friend" said Arthur as he stood by the door way.
"we should save him" the warlock said in his ever calming voice, it calmed Justina. she realised his voice is the reason why she isn't having a mental breakdown seeing her brother on fire.
"what will I get in return?" asked Arthur staring at Justina
"you want me dead right? then you can have me, I'm all yours" she said without thinking, she just want her brother to be okay
"why give me something I already have?" he asked
"what do you want?" she asked having nothing else to give
"what you stole" he said in a hush whisper. it's different from that of the warlock, Wasim's whispers are calming, soothing but Arthur's were unnerving, like it's waging war in her insides, ripping her into two.
"I don't know what I stole but I'll die to give it back to you" she said as tears fell from her eyes, he is going to kill her anyways so it made no difference
Arthur walked towards the boy, he took the boy's hand in his, the fire travelled from the boys hand into his hand crawling up his arm till his whole body is engulfed in flames. he let out a deafening scream that filled the whole house.
"Arthur" yelled Red as she tried running towards her king. Elliott held her back as she struggled against him
"make it stop" yelled Red to the warlock
"if anyone can reach the kid, it's Arthur. you forget what he is" said Wasim dismissing her
"but it's heavenly fire" cried Red as she slumped into Elliott embrace not wanting to see her king burn. she cried softly into his shoulder
"are they not the same? is heavenly fire different from dragon fire?" asked Justina as she bite her nail, an habits she does when she is extremely nervous and overwhelmed.
"dragon fire is full of impurities, but heavenly fire is pure, only a true breed dragon can touch heavenly fire, and not for long because it burns away impurities and all creatures of magic" explained Wasim
"but Arthur is a creature of magic isn't he?" asked Justina. she doesn't know what he is and she is not interested in finding out, he is already scarry as he is.
"yes"
"so he could get hurt?" she asked wondering why he decided to help
"yes" Wasim answered again. this time with something in his voice that Justina couldn't decipher. was it sadness?
"whatever I stole must be hella important"
