'Samvrutha ma? Dei Adrith?'

Samvrutha jerked from her sleep when she heard Devi calling her from outside. She squinted her eyes with great difficulty and noticed the clock which showed 9 o'clock in the morning which made her gasp,

'Aiyayo! yena ivlo neram thoongito!' she clicked her tongue and that's when she noticed her surroundings. She was in a different room and it took some time for her to realise that she was in his room. She looked on her side and witnessed him sleeping on the couch which made her smile. 

Samvrutha couldn't hold back herself from admiring his cute morning face. He was still sleeping soundly with the alarm on his hands and Samvrutha realised what should have happened.

'Alarm ah off panitu marubadiyum thoongradha paru!' she giggled. 

She noticed him turning on the sofa uncomfortably and instantly regretted her actions. She should have let him take his bed. She didn't know that Adhrith would take it seriously,

'Serious ah dha eduthupaan nu theriyadha? pona vaati bed la eri paduthappo enna nadandhuchu nu dha theriyume? adhukapro epdi adhe risk ah eduparu avaru?' her mind chided, which made Samvrutha reminisce that day which brought a blushy smile on her face.

'Paavo, seriya kaal vachu paduka kuda pathadhu andha sofa..che! ipdi panitiye di Sammu!' she sighed and got off her bed. She noticed his blanket which was on the floor and chuckled at his clumsy sleeping before covering him completely with it. She slowly tried to get the alarm from his hand but gasped when Adhrith held her hand and hugged it to his face. 

With the force of his pull, she kneeled down while bending forward. Their faces were inches apart and Samvrutha felt her own heartbeat. His hot breath hit her hand which was under his face and Samvrutha gulped,

'Aiyo kadavule! kanna thorandhirundha dha torture panraan nu patha thoongitu irukrappo kuda torture panraane!' her inner heart whined at her pathetic situation. 

She tried to withdraw her hand but it became hard when he re-positioned himself and comfortably placed his cheek on her palm, tickling her soft skin. Samvrutha tried not to giggle when his beard tickled her hand. She cupped her mouth with the other hand to control herself. On the other hand, Devi was tired calling her children and went back to the kitchen smiling to herself.

Without her knowledge, Samvrutha's eyes roamed around Adhrith's face which looked calm and cute while sleeping. She couldn't help but admire the man child with a constant smile on her face, forgetting the time.

In a few minutes, Adhrith woke up himself and smiled greeting Samvrutha who was sitting close to him,

'Goodmorning..' he said in his gruff voice which made Samvrutha clear her throat to calm herself. She smiled nervously and it didn't take much time for him to realise what he was doing. He sat up with a jerk, withdrawing his hands in a split of a second,
