Adhrith smiled to himself in the mirror. He did a final check on himself before leaving. He knew that he was impatient to meet her after two long weeks, yet he didn't want to disturb her on her important moment in her career.  He was really happy for her and wanted to support more on whatever she liked to do.

His mobile phone rang and saw Chandru's name. He picked the call,

'Solu Chandru..'

'We have a good news macha..' Chandru said and Adhrith frowned,

'The pen drive you gave is almost ready with its retrieval of the missing documents..nalaiku kalaila adhu full ah ready ayirum, adhula ena irundhuchu nu  therinjudum..' Chandru said, and Adhrith widened his eyes in surprise,

'Dei, nejama this is such good news to me..macha! thank you so much da!!' he thanked Chandru who sighed,

'Dei, ethana thanks uh? stop it and be cool now..ni indha vishayathula rombave restless ah irundha nu enaku theriyum..adha ipove solanum nu thonichu..' he said and Adhrith smiled.

'Apro, un wife oda fashion event ku excited ah ready ahitu irupa..sorry if I had disturbed you..' Chandru said and hearing the way he addressed Samvrutha, brought a smile on Adhrith's face.

Chandru smirked when he didn't receive any response from his friend,

'Adhukulla kanavuku poitiya? (chuckles) enamo..I'm really happy for you da..recent days la un mogathula irukra andha happiness ku reason kandippa unoda wife ah dha irupaanga..to be honest, yen Shravani enkooda irukrappo en moonji epdi irukumo, I see the exact happiness in your face..'

Shravani was Chandru's wife and Adhrith very well knew how much they loved each other. Also, whenever Chandru spoke about her, Adhrith was able to see how he glowed. Now Chandru's words made Adhrith reminisce how he smiled whenever he talked about Samvrutha.

'Yenna da, are you still in the line? ilana dream laye settle ayitiya?' Chandru teased and Adhrith chuckled in reply,

'Ipdiye samalichuru, evlo nalaiku dha samalika pora nu nanum pakre..'

Adhrith disconnected the call with a wide smile. He shook his head and checked the time. He realised that it was the time to leave and opened his room door, only to be welcomed by his mother who came to check on him.

Lakshmiram, Devi and Adhrith started towards Samvrutha's university. On their way, Adhrith thought to buy a bouquet of roses and stopped the vehicle near a flower shop. Devi looked at her son teasingly but Adhrith ignored her mother's gaze and walked towards the shop.

Once he was out, his eyes caught Claire on the other end of the road which had a supermarket, directly opposite to where they parked. Adhrith widened his eyes and this time he clearly noticed her. It was definitely her and he didn't mistake anyone to Claire at the pub that day.

Since it was daytime, he was very sure about who he saw and he immediately reached his car.

'Dad, enaku oru mukkiyamana vela vandhuruchu..can you and mom take a cab to Samvrutha's university?'

His parents looked at his tensed face,

'Dei, enachu da? already romba late ayiruchu..anga Samvrutha namakaha wait panitu irupaa..' Devi looked at him worried but Lakshmiram sensed something wrong from his son's facial expression. Adhrith tried not to maintain an eye contact with Lakshmiram as he knew that he would be easily caught by his father.

Adhrith's eyes flickered to Claire on the other side of the road not wanting to miss her track and noticed that she was waiting for someone. He tried not to show to his parents about whom he was spying as he had no time to explain everything now.
