If Rimuru was going to be honest, he could detect it with his slime body. He could detect a strange force lingering about, and it wasn't hard to know where it was coming from.
All the dark magicules that he felt his slime body quietly absorb and deconstruct was only really coming from one direction. Dreamland.
And with the strange thing about nightmares that Kirby had told him about and he had detected for a bit until Kirby seemingly delt with it. At least, he thought so.
But now something of a bigger amount of dark energy has suddenly appeared once again, this time stronger than the last time.
And in all honesty, Rimuru was curious. Since he personally has never played any of the Kirby series, but he was still slightly interested in what Kirby had to say, considering the mass amount of magicules that emitted out of Kirby once you really search for it.
And in all honesty, it's been a bit since he has met up with the pink puffball, so again, he's curious as to what is going on within Dreamland.
And so, taking a few things and storing them in his pocket dimension - or... slime body, and telling his subordinates goodbye - while praying to god that his village won't go to chaos - he climbed onto Ranga and headed out in the risen sun.

Gooey was terrified, scared out of his wits about the dark clouds that surrounded Dreamland, only screaming fear and nightmares. He knows this aura all too well, and he knows who this terrifying aura belongs to.
The dark matter general.
The same dark matter general which had his life in his hands, and yet, chose to spare him for some reason.
But the general is here now, infiltrating Dreamland and their inhabitants, possessing the person-king called Dedede, and controlling many of the Star Elves to do their bidding, spreading to fight and capture the remaining Star Elves which are currently free from any mind control, most likely to corrupt them too.
Gooey looked around, holding the fish he had gained from a small fishing session he had done earlier as he thought to himself.
