It didn't take long for Dreamland to become dark. Dark skies overhead, stormy weathers, with many mind controlled elves standing guard, as a sleeping Dedede walked towards the Fountain Of Dreams.

"Both the Rainbow Sword and the Star Rod have properties that can easily dispose of Dark Matter." The distorted voice of Dedede and the Dark Matter Swordsman hummed, as he approached the centre, reaching out for the Star Rod. "Though, considering everything, in their rush, they did not consider the Star Rod as a viable option."

"So, I will take it and break it."

"W-Wait!"

The possessed Dedede stopped upon feeling a slimy thing wrap around his arm. The Dark Matter Swordsman turned around, taking notice of a certain boy he had abandoned earlier. His tongue had stretched, wrapping around his aforementioned arm, as a fearful expression was on his face.

"N-No! No badth!" The boy exclaimed, attempting to pull the sleeping Dedede away from the fountain of dreams.

"Ah. How curious. I remember you, but you seemed to have evolved from the last time I've seen you." The Dark Matter Swordsman hummed, raising an eyebrow as he stared at the blue haired boy.

"...I question..." The Dark Matter swordsman pulled out Dedede's hammer. "Is this land... enjoyable to you...? So much so that you'll defend it?"

Gooey flinched, but made no effort to try to run away, even when he withdrew his tongue.

"...I see then." The swordsman hummed curiously, bringing up the hammer as if it was a sword. "Then stake your life on it."

A dark expression crossed Meta Knight, as he flew to the clouds, soaring above the seas and lands of mankind and monsters below him. His eyes were set on a specific mission to free the country that he has pledged his loyalty towards.

Even if he has to return there in order to fulfil his mission.

He knows that they have one of the rainbow drops. Every kingdom which has lasted for at least 100 years has one by default, so this should be no exception.
