The scene opens with a young boy lying on the floor, his face obscured by bandages. The room around him is dimly lit, and the only sound is the soft rustling of wind passing through an open window. As he awakens, the boy struggles to sit up, but finds that his left leg is numb and unresponsive. He attempts to stand using his right leg, but it proves too weak to support his weight. Frustrated and confused, the boy looks around the room, trying to make sense of his surroundings. He begins to drag himself across the floor using his backside, slowly inching towards a nearby desk.
With great effort, the boy pulls himself up onto the desk chair, his breath coming in ragged gasps. As he looks around the room, he is struck by a sudden memory of a place he cannot quite recall. The memory is fleeting, like a dream just before waking, but it leaves him with a deep sense of unease. Sweat beads on his forehead as he tries to hold onto the memory, but it slips away like sand through his fingers. Frustrated and a little scared, the boy closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, hoping that someone will come soon and help him make sense of what has happened.

He was startled by a loud noise and whispered to himself in a soft voice, "What was that?"
Back outside, there was Nobita, Shizuka, Suneo, Gian, and Dekisugi, who were all excited that their summer vacation had finally begun. They were discussing their plans for the summer.
Suneo said, "I want to go to Hawaii with my parents." Gian replied, "You always go there, Suneo! Why not go somewhere else?!"
Shizuka intervened, "Calm down, guys. I want to go to Kyoto to see the special cherry blossom next week." Nobita was curious and asked, "What special cherry blossom?"
Dekisugi added, "I've never heard of it, Shizuka. Are you keeping secrets now?"
In the next scene, Nobita slyly places his test score of 70 on the living room door and tiptoes up the stairs, feeling proud of himself for using a broken pencil during the test. A mischievous grin spreads across his face as he thinks about how he tricked the teacher into thinking he didn't study.
As he reaches the top of the stairs, his thoughts turn to his friend Doraemon. He recalls the moment when he accidentally electrocuted and injured the robotic cat. A pang of worry hits him as he wonders if the bandages he put on Doraemon's wounds were tight enough to stop the bleeding.
Meanwhile, the boy inside the room hears Nobita's knock and starts to panic. He worries that Nobita will judge him for his deep voice and decides to attempt to change it to sound higher pitched. He clears his throat and tries to force his voice to sound more feminine, hoping that it will be enough to avoid any criticism from him.
As Nobita approached the door, he heard no sound coming from the room. He knocked a few times, but still received no answer. He decided to turn the doorknob and push the door open. The room was dimly lit, and he could barely make out a figure lying on the floor. It was the unknown boy he had seen earlier that day. He seemed to be fast asleep, and there was no movement from him. Nobita couldn't help but wonder how long he had been sleeping. Seven hours had passed since they last saw each other, and he was still in the same position.
Nobita walked closer to the boy and noticed a piece of paper lying next to him. He picked it up and saw that it had the number "01110100 01101000 01101001 01110011" written on it. He immediately thought that it was one of Doraemon's pranks and crumpled the paper, hiding it behind the bookshelf. He then tried to wake the boy up but was met with resistance.
As the unknown character lay there, he felt a pair of eyes scanning him closely. He was bewildered and wondered how much longer he could endure the scrutiny. The room was quiet except for the sound of his own breathing. He wished that the incessant thumping in his head would go away.
Suddenly, Nobita Nobi entered the room. He took one look at the unknown boy and realized that he was still exhausted. Nobita decided to wait for Doraemon to arrive and help the boy recover.
The unknown boy was confused. He wondered who Doraemon was and what he could do to help him. He struggled to keep his eyes open as he drifted in and out of consciousness.
After what seemed like an eternity, Doraemon finally arrived. He was carrying three fresh dorayaki in his hands.
The unknown boy's eyes slowly opened, and he saw Doraemon standing before him. Suddenly, he let out a blood-curdling scream, and the scene outside the window shook with a rumbling effect.
In his mind, the unknown boy thought he saw a tanuki, a Japanese raccoon dog. But he was too scared to say anything.
Doraemon was taken aback by the boy's scream and shouted, "What the heck?! Tanuki! Who are you calling Tanuki?!"
Nobita Nobi tried to calm them both down, saying, "Uh... he's awake now..." But the unknown boy was still too terrified to speak.
When the boy finally regained consciousness, he was disoriented and confused. He demanded to know why he was there and who they were. Doraemon, ever the calm and collected one, patiently explained that they had found him in the forest, unconscious and injured, and had brought him to their safe house to help him recover.
Nobita, who knew Doraemon's tendency to blurt out embarrassing details, was relieved that Doraemon didn't mention the cause of the boy's injury. The boy, grateful for their kindness, thanked them for rescuing him. However, when asked about his name, he couldn't remember it. Doraemon and Nobita explained that he might have amnesia, a condition that causes memory loss. They reassured him that his memory might return with time.
The boy listened intently to their explanation and appreciated their kindness. He scooted back on the desk, still a little unsure of his surroundings, but comforted by the fact that he was in good hands.
The two characters are seen conversing with an unknown boy who appears to be disoriented. The boy is visibly confused and asks why he is there. Doraemon, being the helpful and compassionate assistant that he is, explains that they had to put bandages around his body due to an injury he had sustained. The boy expresses gratitude for their kindness and tries to position himself more comfortably, but is still perplexed about his sudden arrival. In an attempt to ease his anxiety, Doraemon apologizes for any distress they may have caused and introduces himself and Nobita to the boy. The boy appears to have suffered from amnesia and can't seem to recall his name. Nobita, being the creative and thoughtful friend that he is, suggests that they give him a name. After some discussion, they decide on the name "Daiki" and the boy seems to be content with this new identity.
