In the vast silence of the cosmos, hidden within the folds of a dimensional rift, three mysterious entities began to stir. Code X, Code Y, and Code Z—creatures of unearthly energy, forged in the unknown reaches of space—awakened. A deep hum resonated as their slumber ended, and a single word rippled through the void.
During the night, Nobita and Doraemon are already asleep while Daiki gazed out of his window, clutching an object he couldn't recall owning—a fragment of shimmering metal etched with symbols he didn't understand. His memories were like scattered stars in an endless night, unreachable and dim.
In the dimensional rift, Code Z's pulsating red aura flickered, its voice growing louder. "Warning... Warning..." The words echoed across time and space, reaching the boy's ears in a faint, distorted whisper. Daiki froze, the fragment in his hand glowing faintly, as if responding to the call. However, Daiki was too confused and couldn't remember a single thing and shrugs it off, calling a night.
THE NEXT DAY
An Unsettling Sight
It had been weeks since Nobita first noticed Shizuka and Daiki spending time together. At first, he thought it was just a coincidence—two friends hanging out. But as he saw them more and more, laughing together, whispering about something, and even walking to school side by side, his suspicion grew.
"What if Daiki likes Shizuka?" Nobita muttered to himself, pacing in his room.
Doraemon, sitting nearby, sighed heavily. "You've been worrying about this for days, Nobita. Why don't you just ask them what's going on?"
"Because what if it's true?" Nobita groaned, flopping onto his bed. "What if Daiki likes her, and she... likes him back?"
Doraemon rolled his eyes. "You're letting your imagination run wild. They're probably just working on something together."
"Yeah, something romantic!" Nobita snapped.
Doraemon decided not to argue further. "Fine. Keep jumping to conclusions. But don't blame me when this backfires."
The Misinterpreted Conversation
Later that day, Nobita decided to follow Daiki and Shizuka after school. He trailed them to the park, hiding behind a bush while they sat on a bench, talking.
"Do you think he'll like it?" Shizuka asked, her voice warm and hopeful.
"I think he'll love it," Daiki replied, smiling.
Nobita's heart sank. They're talking about me! She's telling him she likes him!
"I hope it's not too much," Shizuka added. "I've been thinking about it for weeks."
"It's perfect," Daiki assured her. "You've put a lot of thought into it."
Nobita could barely contain himself. He bolted from his hiding spot and stormed up to the bench.
"What's going on here?!" he demanded, his voice trembling.
Shizuka and Daiki jumped in surprise.
"Nobita!" Shizuka said, startled. "What are you doing here?"
"I should be asking you that!" Nobita snapped. "Why are you two always together? What are you planning?!"
Daiki frowned. "What's your problem, Nobita? We're just—"
"I know what's going on!" Nobita interrupted, pointing at them. "You're keeping secrets from me! You don't trust me anymore!"
Shizuka's face fell. "Nobita, that's not true. We—"
"I don't want to hear it!" Nobita cried before running off, leaving Daiki and Shizuka speechless.
The Confrontation
Back at home, Nobita vented his frustrations to Doraemon, who listened with a mix of patience and exasperation.
"I knew it! They're hiding something from me!" Nobita shouted.
Doraemon sighed. "Did you even give them a chance to explain?"
"No, but I don't need an explanation!" Nobita retorted. "It's obvious what's happening."
"Fine," Doraemon said, pulling out his Emotion Decoder Gadget. "Next time you see them, I'll scan their emotions. Then you'll know for sure."
The Truth Comes Out
The next day, Doraemon and Nobita saw Daiki and Shizuka walking together again. Nobita braced himself as Doraemon activated the gadget, scanning their emotional wavelengths.
"Well?" Nobita asked nervously.
Doraemon frowned. "Their emotions are... happy, excited, and... collaborative. There's no romantic interest here, Nobita."
"What?" Nobita blinked in confusion.
Just then, Shizuka spotted them and waved. "Nobita! Doraemon!"
Daiki smiled. "Perfect timing."
"Perfect timing for what?" Nobita asked suspiciously.
Shizuka held out a small envelope. "This is what Daiki and I have been working on. We wanted to make sure it was just right before showing you."
Nobita hesitated before taking the envelope. Inside was a handmade invitation to a surprise party—for him.
"What... what's this?" Nobita asked, stunned.
"We've been planning a surprise party for you," Daiki explained. "It's to celebrate how much you mean to us as a friend."
Shizuka nodded. "We've been gathering everyone's ideas, writing notes, and making decorations. We didn't want to ruin the surprise, but..."
Nobita's face turned red with embarrassment. "You mean... all this time, you weren't...?"
"Of course not!" Shizuka said, laughing lightly. "Daiki and I were just planning something special for you."
The Unexpected Plot Twist
As Nobita tried to process this revelation, Daiki's expression turned serious.
"There's one more thing we haven't told you yet," he said, glancing at Shizuka.
"What is it?" Nobita asked cautiously.
Shizuka smiled mysteriously. "The surprise party isn't just for you. It's also for someone very important to us."
"Who?" Nobita asked, puzzled.
Just then, Doraemon's gadget beeped, detecting another presence approaching. Nobita turned to see his parents walking toward him, holding a framed photo.
"We thought it would be nice to honor your grandmother," Daiki said gently. "She's the reason we all feel so close, Nobita."
The framed photo was of Nobita and his grandmother sitting together under a cherry blossom tree years ago. Around it were handwritten notes from Shizuka, Daiki, and their friends, expressing how much they admired the kindness and values she had instilled in Nobita.
Nobita's eyes filled with tears. "You did all this... for her? For me?"
Shizuka nodded. "We wanted to remind you how important family and friends are."
Daiki grinned. "And how lucky we are to have you as part of our lives."
A Heartwarming Ending
Nobita wiped his tears and smiled. "Thank you. I'm so sorry for misunderstanding everything."
Shizuka laughed. "It's okay, Nobita. We know you meant well."
As the group walked back home together, Nobita felt a renewed sense of gratitude for the people around him. The surprise party became one of the happiest moments of his life, a celebration of love, friendship, and the memories that brought them all closer.
