The sun rose over Nobita's neighborhood, casting a warm glow on the houses below. The adrenaline of the previous day's race had faded, replaced by a quiet sense of accomplishment among the group. Though the competition had been fierce and emotions had run high, the bonds they shared had grown stronger.
Nobita's Reflections
Nobita woke up with a wide grin, his hand still touching his cheek where Shizuka had kissed him the night before. "I can't believe I won... and Shizuka..." he muttered, his face flushing as he sat up in bed.He looked at his hoverboard, now parked neatly in the corner, with the gum still stuck in its malfunctioning spot. "You carried me through the race, buddy," Nobita said, patting it with a sense of pride.
Doraemon's Replay Surprise and Mii-chan's Visit
Later that morning, Doraemon was seated under the backyard tree, holding a small plate with a single piece of Dorayaki on it. He glanced toward the fence and spotted Mii-chan, his beloved feline crush, peeking out shyly. Her tail swished gently as she purred in curiosity.
"Mii-chan!" Doraemon called softly, his cheeks turning pink. "I saved this for you. It's the last piece of my favorite Dorayaki, just for you."
Mii-chan approached cautiously, her eyes gleaming with interest. Doraemon set the plate down, and she leaned in, nibbling delicately on the treat. Her contented purring made Doraemon's heart flutter.
"You're the best, Mii-chan," Doraemon whispered as she finished the Dorayaki. With a satisfied swish of her tail, Mii-chan rubbed against Doraemon affectionately before leaping over the fence, disappearing into the neighborhood.
With a happy sigh, Doraemon picked up the gadget he had been working on—a Holographic Replay Projector. "Alright, now it's time to show Nobita something special," he said, getting to his feet.
Sharing the Replay with Nobita
Doraemon found Nobita lounging on the porch, still buzzing with excitement from the day before. "Nobita, you've got to see this," Doraemon said, setting up the projector.
"What is it, Doraemon?" Nobita asked, sitting up curiously.
Doraemon tapped the device, and a large holographic screen appeared in front of them, displaying the events of the race from start to finish.
The two watched together as the recording showed every thrilling moment—the eliminations, the challenges, and the final stretch where Nobita pulled off his miraculous backflip to win.
"That's... that's amazing!" Nobita exclaimed, his face lighting up as he saw himself crossing the finish line. "I really did that?"
"You sure did," Doraemon said, smiling warmly. "This race wasn't just about winning—it was about how much you've grown. I'm so proud of you, Nobita."
Nobita's eyes welled up slightly, and he rubbed the back of his head. "Thanks, Doraemon. I couldn't have done it without you and everyone else cheering me on."
The two friends sat together, rewatching the highlights of the race, their laughter and excitement echoing in the quiet morning. It was a memory they would treasure forever.
The Afternoon Visit from Shizuka
At around 2 PM, Nobita was lounging on the living room floor, flipping through one of his old comics and still basking in the excitement of the previous day. Doraemon was nearby, fiddling with a gadget, when the doorbell rang.
"Who's that?" Nobita muttered, getting to his feet.
"I have a feeling you'll want to answer this one," Doraemon said with a knowing smile.
