He never liked school but history class he dreaded the most, didn't help the fact that today was game day and the team all had to wear suits and ties so he was rather uncomfortable. He glance around the class room everyone was either asleep, texting or passing notes

Gajeel was Fairy tail's starting small forward and one of the top players in the nation some analyst already predicted he be a one and done college player. He stood 6'7" and was 200lbs of solid muscle but don't let his size fool you he had a quick first step and could handle the ball better than some of the guards on the team other than Natsu. Gajeel wanted to go pro that was his goal and he be damned if he didn't get there.

Gajeel took his phone out to see he had 2 messages one from Natsu and one from a person called 'bookworm' he decided to ignore Natsu and text back 'bookworm'

Gajeel put his phone back in his pocket as the bell rang. He had been talking to 'bookworm' for about 3 weeks now after Natsu told him that there was a cute girl his gf knew and she wanted to set her up with him. At first Gajeel was completely against it he wasn't some charity case and he didn't need help get some ass either he just been focused on ball he felt he didn't have time to deal with an emotional girlfriend on top of that but after Natsu kept begging he finally caved and took the girl's number when Gajeel asked what was her name he didn't have one he just knew she loved books and thus he save her number under bookworm.
