Gajeel sat in the back of the bus with the rest of the team being rowdy after winning a big road game beating the school's rival Crocus University by 5. Gajeel's game had been improving greatly in the recent months he was averaging 19 points a game with 6 assist he was undoubtedly becoming the star of Magnolia University's team. Gajeel was already looking forward to the last game of the season before the national tournament kicked off Hargeon University led by their star freshman Natsu Dragneel. He knew he would be on Natsu all game and he was preparing himself early for the challenge ahead. Just then his phone vibrated he picked it up outta his lap and it read 'Shorty' above the call. He picked up

"Yea, shorty wats up?"
"Ummmm, Gajeel we need to talk when you get back" Levy said in a nervous tone.
"Why just say it now it be much quicker" Gajeel retorted
"No this has to be said in person how long will you be?"
"Uhhh like 25 more minutes"
"Ok meet me at the the cafe in town the one we go to all the time"
"Blue Pegasus ok got it"
"Bye" Levy hung up not giving Gajeel a chance to say it back.
Now Gajeel was worried what could have shaken his little bookworm up so much that she was sounding monotone like someone took her soul away from her. All Gajeel could do was wish the bus driver would dive faster his shrimp needed him asap.
Levy counted the seconds down to when Gajeel would be off the bus as she got dressed she was contemplating how she would tell him the news 'how is he gonna react?' She hoped this wouldn't completely destroy their relationship they have been together for little over a year now and she truly loved Gajeel but she couldn't help but worry. As she mad her way through the melting snow as it was great spring weather but still a bit chilly she kept repeating all the senarios in her head in the process making her worry more. Levy reached blue Pegasus greeting the owner Bob who was behind the counter.
"Levy you look stressed my dear" Bob said with concern
"Oh I'm sorry finals are coming up and I've been studying non stop that's why"
" oh god, my dear your to beautiful to let school form bags under your eyes" he said as he sat a cup of Levy's favorite tea in front of her lemon and cinnamon tea.
Levy let out a small giggle
"Your right" just then a muscular tall body sat in the seat next to Levy letting his gym bag drop to the floor.
"You needed to see me shorty wats going on?"
Levy sat silent for a minute looking at her cup of tea. She was still having her internal battle with herself she didn't know where to begin.
Gajeel could see something was seriously bothering her and played with her hair to try and calm her a bit.
"Look shorty just be honest with me keep it short and sweet don't think too much I've told you about that." Gajeel said in a comforting voice.
"Well ummm, you see Gajeel im......" 'Just say it' "I'm....." 'Comeon' "i-im p-pregnant." Levy looked up and Gajeel and from his expression it looked like he was just hit by a brick wall ' oh no he's gonna leave me he's gonna want nothing to do with me now' While Levy continued to fret Gajeel was fretting about something totally different but he figured its his he has to do what needs to be done so he reach over and pulled Levy into a crushing hug.
"I'm not gonna leave ya shorty so quit worrying imma be a man and take care of you and my child ok?"
Levy wasn't expecting this response and all she could do was cry into his chest.
"B-but w-what about.... Your dream of g-going p-pro I've r-ruined all of it"
" no you didn't you've just given me all the more motivation I need to become the best player on the planet and I will shorty for you and for our brat so quit blaming yourself you did nothing wrong" Gajeel said while stroking Levy's back. Gajeel wasn't gonna run from his responsibility hell he was a grown man when he and Levy fucked without a condom he'd definitely wasn't gonna be one if these guys that just left his brat and the mother to fend for themselves no he was gonna be there for both of them. Although now came a difficult choice to make: stay in school for all 4 years in college or try for the draft after the national tournament. All the draft analysis had him going late 1st maybe mid 1st if he was lucky right now he would have to play his best basketball and work even harder from here on out. He decided his current training wasn't tough enough and would ask coach to beef it up later but right now he had a small bluenette to calm down.
"Hey Levy, how bout we go get something sweet to eat huh my treat"
Levy tryed to clean up her face and put on a smile.
"Id love that, Thank you."

Sorry short chapter haven't had too much time with my company getting ready to deploy and stuff so this is for y'all next chapter will start with the duel between Gajeel and Natsu as they battle for supremacy and also it will show Gajeel's work ethic and it will be inspirational thanks for sticking with me y'all the real MVP
