Last seconds of uncertainty

The crowd was rocking their team up one point, but the Typhoons looked cool calm and collected. Natsu walked on to the floor fire in his eyes.... He ment business no more playing around. Gajeel loved it when Natsu and he stopped playing around and got serious. It was Typhoon's ball and everyone in the gym knew who would be getting the ball..... Natsu "Salamander" Dragneel and they had to stop him. Twenty seconds on the game clock and a fifteen second shot clock ment that even if Natsu scored a go ahead bucket the Vipers would have at most five seconds to score with no time outs. The ball was in bounded and Natsu was immediately met by Gajeel, but Gajeel could not keep Natsu in front of him and he ran along side of him. They crossed half court an isolation play was called. It was just Natsu and Gajeel. Natsu immediately hit a double crossover on Gajeel but he didn't bite then he drove left, causing Gajeel to go with him but Natsu being the crafty ball-handler that he was crossed between his legs Getting Gajeel even more off balance. Then the killer Natsu stepped back and faked the shot getting Gajeel to bite and Natsu jumped into him to draw the shooting foul with 6.7 seconds left on the clock.
"Aww come on ref that's bullshit he jumped into me!" Gajeel shouted at the referee.
"Watch your mouth Redfox or you'll have a technical next." The referee said sternly. Gajeel's plea fell on deaf ears and so he lined up for the free throws he knew Natsu would knock down. Natsu did hit both free throws and now they were up by one. Laxus inbounded to Gajeel and he took off up court....... Five seconds. He crossed half court and Natsu picked him up....... Four seconds. Gajeel gave Natsu a little hesitation dribble and crossed over now Natsu was on his hip....... Three seconds. Gajeel got inside the arc stopped on a dime and pulled up Natsu put his hand up into the face of Gajeel......... Two seconds. Gajeel flick his wrist for his follow through he got it off in time........ One second. In that moment the air was sucked out of the gym everyone's eyes were on that ball floating through the air no one breathe at all till finally a sound was heard....... The snap of the net........ Zero seconds left Game over Vipers Win. The crowd erupted cheers and chants of MVP was heard, Gajeel was tackled at center court by his team. The party would be all night tonight for them at lest. As for the Typhoons they looked utterly crushed some even confused. Natsu was laying on the ground face to the floor fist clenched to white-knucle intensity and a few tears left his eyes. Defeat they were out played.... No he was out played by Gajeel his friend and rival. Natsu knew they played their hearts out gave it there all but at the end of it all it wasn't enough. The teams lined up and shook hands no hard feelings someone had to lose. Gajeel reached for Natsu's hand and he grasped it.
"You owe me a rematch Black steel.... Don't let anyone else beat you till we face off again in the tournament" Natsu said
"You got it,Natsu we'll be ready to beat you again" Gajeel responded and they both smirked at one another vowing to meet back up in the big dace to see who really is the better team.

As Gajeel exited the locker room from changing his phone began to vibrate. He didn't recognize the number but he answered anyways.
"Hello?"
"Yea..... Gajeel?"
"Speaking, who is this?"
" Cana one of Levy's friends you need to get to Magnolia memorial hospital ASAP"
" WHAT?! WHY?! WHATS GOING ON WITH HER?!"
"HEY, SHUT UP! Look too much to explain and some shit they told me I don't understand so...... Just get here, later."
The line went dead and Gajeel was off like he was shot out of canon with rocket boosters attached to his feet. It didn't matter that he just got done playing 34 mins in a game his shrimp was in trouble.... In the hospital and he needed to figure out what was going on or who he needed to kill for this.

So what's going to happen to levy hmmmmmm? I know but you guys don't and you will in the next chapter sorry this is late really working on two stories plus work plus studying for a boards yea I got a full plate but I thank y'all for your support you guys keep me writing so please like comment all that
