Secret Romance (IM5 Colton)

Chapter 6.

*Wednesday, September 12th 2012*

*Cole*

I got to the studio at 8am and the other boys were already there.

Will: "Hey, I have your phone."

Cole: "Thanks bro."

He handed it to me and I checked it. I saw messages from my mom, dad, Kylee and Dalton. I checked my family's first and then Dalton's.

From: Dalton

Goodnight Coley. I'll see you tomorrow.

From: Dalton

Morning, why didn't you reply? Text me back soon...

I looked at him and he was watching me. I smiled and typed a reply.

To: Dalton

Sorry, as you now know, I left it at Will's...

I sent it and then saw him check his. He laughed slightly and then started typing. A minute later, my phone buzzed with a text from him.

From: Dalton

Idiot.

I looked up at him and put my hand over my heart in fake heartbreak. He smiled cheekily and walked over to me. He tried to pull me into a hug but I stopped him.

Cole: "I don't want your hug now."

Dalton: "But Coley..."

Cole: "No Dalty..."

He pouted and it made my heart flutter.

Cole: "Aw, you're so cute..."

I pulled him into a hug this time and we just stood hugging for a while. Eben walked into the room so I let go of Dalton.

Eben: "Okay boys. You have a concert of Friday, so make sure you practice. You'll be singing your covers and Zero Gravity of course so go over them and remember how they go."

We all nodded and then he let us have time to practice. We all walked into a dance room and decided to practice Zero Gravity because it's our newest. We got into our places and Will turned the music on. We started dancing and singing along.

After Zero Gravity, we went onto our cover of Kiss You (I'm not sure when they did this cover, but pretend it's at this time, okay? Okay).

At the end of the song, Dalton looked into my eyes when we were singing 'and let me kiss you' and then he pulled me to him and kissed me. I laughed slightly and kissed him back.

Eben: "Stop kissing boys. It's practice time."

I pulled away from Dalton and we both blushed. Dalton leaned in and whispered in my ear.

Dalton: "After practice, you and I are going out. On a date."

I nodded so he kissed my cheek and then we started practicing again.

*4pm*

We were finally allowed to leave the studio after a long time of practicing and I was so exhausted.

Dalton: "Go home and get ready. I'll come at around 6:30."

Cole: "Okay."

He hugged me and then got in his mom's car. I drove myself home and when I walked in, Kylee and her boyfriend were there.

Kylee: "Hey Cole. How was practice?"

Cole: "It was great."

She smiled so I smiled back. I went up to my bedroom and then got in the shower. I walked out in my towel when I was done and then got changed into some white shorts, a dark blue button up, a grey beanie and some grey vans. I checked the time and saw it was only 5pm so I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.

*Dalton*

When I got home, I went up to my room and got in the shower. When I got out, I put some white ripped jeans on, a black green day shirt, and some black converse. I redid my nail polish and my eyeliner then I was done. I checked the time and it was only 5:30 so I just chilled in my room.

At 6:45, I got in my car and drove to Cole's house. I knocked on the door and his sister opened it.

Kylee: "Hey Dalton, come in."

I walked in and her boyfriend was also there.

Kylee: "He's up in his room."

I thanked her and went up to Cole's room. I knocked on the door but didn't hear a reply, so I opened it and saw Cole asleep. I walked over to him and stroked his cheek.

Dalton: "Cole baby, wake up."

He opened his eyes and smiled at me. I smiled back then gave him a quick kiss on his lips. We walked downstairs where he said goodbye to Kylee and then we got in my car.

*Cole*

We got in Dalton's car and he started driving. A while later, the car stopped and I saw the Venice Beach fair. I smiled and we got out of the car.

Cole: "Wow. It's so beautiful at night."

Dalton: "It is."

We walked into the fair and went to the big wheel first. We got in a cart and luckily we were by ourselves. Dalton cuddled up into my side and I wrapped my arms around him. He looked up at me and I looked at him then we both leaned in and kissed. Our lips moved in sync and it felt really good. I heard the sound of a picture being taken so I immediately pulled away from Dalton. I looked around and realized that we were at the bottom of the wheel. Luckily the picture didn't seem to be taken of us but that was a close one. We got out of the cart and then I saw a booth to win a giant stuffed koala.

Cole: "Dalton look! A giant koala!"

Dalton grabbed my arm and pulled me over to it. He paid the man and then played the game. It was one where you had to get 3 beanbag things in a bucket and he did it on the first try. The man handed him the koala and Dalton thanked him. He leaned over and whispered to me.

Dalton: "This is for you, but I'll hold it until we leave."

Cole: "Thank you."

He's so amazing... I'm so glad he's mine.

*Dalton*

Seeing Cole's face light up when he saw the giant koala made me feel like I had to win it for him. Once I had and I told him, he seemed so happy that it made me happy. I can't believe how perfect this boy actually is. I'm so glad he's mine.

*Cole*

Dalton and I decided to leave at around 10pm, so we walked to his car and then he handed me the koala when we got in.

Cole: "I'm naming him Colton."

Dalton smiled widely and then kissed my cheek. He started driving and I just looked out of the window.

When we got back to my house, we both walked in and my whole family was there.

Dad: "Hey boys. Have fun?"

We both nodded and they smiled.

Cole: "Can Dalton sleep over?"

Mom: "As long as you keep the door open."

I rolled my eyes but agreed. Dalton and I walked up to my room and he called his mom. After he hung up, he looked at me.

Dalton: "I can."

I nodded then handed him some pyjamas and he went into my bathroom. I got changed in my room and Dalton came out not long after. We both got into my bed and cuddled up together.

Cole: "Tonight was fun. Thank you."

Dalton: "Anything for you."

I kissed him then closed my eyes and fell asleep.
