we reach the homestead, i get off and then anakin gets off with his mother in his arms. everyone comes running towards us, anakin comes face to face with cliegg. there is a brief pause before he heads into the homestead.

"what's it like?" beru asks padmè as we help prepare the food. "i'm sorry?" padmè asked, confused. "on naboo, what's it like there?" "oh, it's very green. with lots of water, and trees. not like here at all." padmè smiles softly as we prepare the food.
"and what's it like on kyr?" beru asks me, "it has everything. it has deserts like tatooine, mountains like alderaan, greenery like naboo, even rainforests, tundras, everything. you must visit sometime." I smile at beru softly. "i think i like it here better." "maybe you'll come see it someday." padmè replies with a soft smile. "i don't think so, i don't like traveling." i chuckle softly, "tatooine has its charms." I say with a smile

i walk into where anakin was, "you hungry? i have food." "the shifter broke. life seems so much easier when you're fixing things. i'm great at fixing things so why couldn't i- why couldn't i save her! i know i could have!"
i sigh and set the food to the side, I walk towards him and i wipe his tears. he avoids my gaze, "look at me, moron." he does so.
"maybe you could have saved her, we'll never know. it's happened and i know you're hurt and you're allowed to feel like this. cry it all out, you deserve it, okay?" i pause.
"put those tools down and rest, you've worked hard." anakin chokes on his sobs and rests his head on my shoulders, his tears spilling on my clothes, i grimace. "you're disgusting." he chuckles while sobbing and i pat his back. i whisper comforting words in his ear as he sobbed, tears wetting my clothes.
