She awoke with a yawn, still snuggled up against Venti's chest. Blinking sleepily, the cheng huang hummed to herself. The bard was fast asleep, his breathing slow as light snores escaped his mouth. She smiled, gently pecking his forehead before beginning to stretch. Her legs trembled as she stood and she knew it was a consequence of good sex.

She yawned once more, only to startle when Venti grabbed at her clothes, tugging her back down towards him. Back in the archon's arms, she sighed, shaking her head slightly. He was clinging tightly to her, cuddled in her breasts. Deadpanning, she flicked his forehead.

"Venti, please let go."

"Mhh, nooo. Five more minutes."

"Barbatos." Reluctantly, he released his hold, pouting at the vixen. She smirked victoriously before yelping when she was pulled back into his strong grip. "Venti!"

"Ehe."

""Ehe" my ass," she snarked back, pursing her lips. A hand on her butt startled her and she glared at the bard, who was grinning mischievously from where he lay on her boobs. "You're a little shit."

"Mm but you love me." She froze, stiffening in his hold. He quickly let go, scooting back. "Sorry."

"N-No, it is alright. One was merely startled."

He frowned. "You're doing it again."

"Doing what?"

"Speaking like an adeptus."

"One is an adeptus."

"Yeah, but you stopped talking like that around me and relaxed and now you aren't. You're tense. I know what I said, and I'm sorry."

"It's alright, Venti, really. I'm just not sure what we have can be qualified as love." A pregnant silence fell over the duo and [Name] found herself curled up against Venti once more, eyelids heavy. "Regardless, I believe I'm ready to try love again."

"Yeah? How about I show you around Mond—it might deepen our bond~"

"Stop with the rhyming. It is confusing."

"Ehe, sorry. It's a habit. Ahh, I'm bored. I'm supposed to play at the cathedral today, but I don't want to."

She hummed, glancing at him in confusion. "Why not?"

"Because I want to spend time with you instead."

"Mm. But you need mora, do you not?"

"Well, yeah, but-"

"No buts. You should play at the cathedral. I'm sure you'll do well. If it eases you, I'll watch."

"Aha...ha...fine."

With that, the two began heading towards Mondstadt, talking as they walked hand-in-hand. It didn't take too long to get to the city of freedom. The gates were much larger than she remembered, but alas, she hadn't been in centuries.

[Name] quietly followed the bard to the cathedral, only for the duo to be stopped by Lumine. Paimon was floating nearby, talking excitedly about food, only to shout at the sight of Venti. The duo sighed at the fairy's enthusiasm.

"Tone-deaf bard!" she screeched. Venti winced but walked over, dragging the vixen with him. Lumine gave them a sympathetic look, a small smile on her face.

"Venti, [Name]. What're you doing in Mond? I thought adepti never left Liyue," she asked, tilting her head like a puppy.

"I was showing [Nickname] around. That old blockhead doesn't know, but she snuck off to see me."
