So this story has over 1,000 reads now. I'm not really sure why, but thank you! This whole thing just started out as a little idea I had at four in the morning and now it's my most popular story. I really want to thank all of you that have read this story and put up with my lack of a schedule for publishing new chapters, I know it's annoying. I want to thank everyone that commented and said nice things about the story, you guys are so inspirational to me. I also would like to thank the people that voted for my story, those little stars motivate me so much, it's unreal. Anyways, a big thank you to everyone for reading this fanfic and watching it grow into what it is now.
I never really had something I could say was my hobby, because apparently video games and Netflix aren't hobbies. My seventh grade English teacher held a writing contest, and I entered it because one of the prizes were a free 100 on the next test, and who doesn't want that? So, I wrote some silly story about a haunted plantation and I actually got first place! Not only did it bump up my B to an A, it also opened the door to a whole new world I didn't know about. I had always loved reading books, but I had never thought I could even try to write one. This contest gave me the confidence to try my hand at writing, and I was surprised to find that people besides my parents liked my writing. I found Fanfiction.net a few weeks later, and I was both amazed and scared by what I read. There were others out there who liked writing as much as I did, and they were able to upload their stories onto the Internet.
Unfortunately, I never could figure out how to publish something to Fanfiction.net on my iPad, and I couldn't use my mom's computer. So I wrote down my ideas into a notebook I carried around with me, until I had three notebooks filled with characters and complicated plot twists. Then, something amazing happened. I received a link from an internet friend of mine to this website called Wattpad, and I tapped on it. That one little tap of my finger changed my life. I found another website full of aspiring writers, and I was actually able to figure out how to publish something! At first, I just read other people's stories and learned. Oh boy did I learn! I found people on here like me, people that loved Markimash and Septicplier, people I could talk to and relate to.
Soon enough, I published some Avenger fanfic I called "The Contract". In one chapter, I had a little bit of Markimash in it, and thus the idea for this story was born! Since I typed that first chapter up at four in the morning, my whole world shifted. I suddenly had a small group of people that read this story, encouraging me to write more, cheering me on. It was surreal and the most incredible thing I'd ever experienced all at once. You wonderful, lovely people have no idea how much you have impacted my life, and how much brighter you make it. I hope you all know that from the bottom of my heart, I love you. You have made such a difference in my life, and I hope that I can one day help someone as much as you have helped me. When I've had a rough day at school or at the hospital or wherever, it helps so much to be able to log in and see a nice message or comment. Honestly, this website is one of the reasons I drag myself out of bed in the morning. I know that you guys expect me to keep writing, and I don't intend to let you down.
So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Come by my place at seven, I'm throwing a huge Netflix/pizza party, and you're all invited! Try to bring some drinks though, I only have water and Kool-Aid.

FanfictionOkay, so in my other story "The Contract", I had a little part in it with some fluffy Markimash goodness. I've decided to actually write a story based on that bit, with the backstory and what happened after Melody and Loki left. It'll be cute, may...
