Alright folks, markimashfan15 suggested this next part, and I thought it was a good idea!

Yami's POV

I thought for moment about where Mark and I could go, and I suggested, "Maybe the park?" Mark grinned and exclaimed, "Yami, that's a great idea! There's a park that isn't too far from here, it's only a five minute walk!" I smiled and said, "Well, I'm ready when you are Mawk!" "Alright, then let's go!" Mark cheered, running to his front door. He unlocked it and we went outside, Mark locking the door before we walked off. I breathed in the cool October air and sighed contentedly, shoving my hands in my pocket. Speaking of October, what should Mark and I do for Halloween? Doesn't Mark and I sound nice? Not now voice! I need to think, so keep your mouth shut! Jeez, fine you dick! The voice shut up then, and I internally sighed. Anyways, back to Halloween! I wonder if Mark does anything in particular for Halloween? I know, I'll ask him!

"Hey Mawk, do you want to do anything for Halloween?" I asked, turning my head to look up at Mark. Mark smiled and replied, "I don't really do much for Halloween besides hand out candy to the little kiddies, but if you want to do something together I'm up for it!" I felt myself blush slightly and I said, "I never really did much for Halloween, so I'm good with just handing out candy to the kids." Mark nodded and suddenly threw his arm out in front of me. I collided into it and stumbled, but Mark caught me. "Y-you nearly ran into that pole!" Mark giggled, pulling me back up to my feet. I blushed harder and grumbled, "Really funny Mawk!" Mark smiled at me and cooed, "Aw, is little Yami embarrassed?" I glared up at Mark but his giggles turned into full blown laughter.

He clutched at his stomach and howled, tears rolling down his cheeks. "Mawk, shut up!" I hissed, looking around the street quickly. Luckily, the street was empty. Mark finally calmed down and we continued onto the park in relative silence. We finally arrived at the park and I smiled at the pretty scenery. There was a small lake with some ducks, a dock that went out a few meters, a beautiful fountain, a few people having a picnic, and some pretty flowers all over. There was an elderly lady with a small stand set up by the lake, with a sign read: Bread Bits, $1.50 A Bag. Mark took one look at the stand and exclaimed, "Yami, we should feed the ducks!" I giggled at his childlike excitement at something so simple, and let him lead me over to the old lady. She smiled at us brightly when we approached, and she held out a bag of crumbs.

"Do you wish to feed the ducks?" she asked, voice soft and whispery. "Yes Miss, two bags please!" Mark replied, digging around in his pocket for money. I began searching my pockets as well but Mark said, "Yami, this was my idea, I'll pay for it." I smiled and said, "Well, then I'll pay for the next time!" The old lady smiled and handed us two bags of bread bits, and Mark handed her the money. "You two have a nice day!" she called, waving at us as we walked over to the lake. "You have a nice day as well!" I called back cheerfully, waving at the friendly lady. Mark was too busy giggling at the baby ducks to say anything, but he waved back too. We spent nearly thirty minutes feeding the ducks, and Mark even began naming them! "Edward, don't eat Marie's food! Tony and Steve, you two share with Natalie!" Mark reprimanded, sounding all serious and stern.

Mark's POV

I smiled when I heard Yami try, and fail, to stifle his laughter. I was glad he was having fun, if he happy then I was happy. I sighed contentedly and sat down at the docks, looking up at the clouds. "Hey Mawk, what does that cloud look like to you?" Yami asked, sitting down next to me and pointing out a cloud. I squinted my eyes and stared at the cloud for a moment, then replied, "It looks kinda like a spaceship to me." Yami giggled and said, "Not that one Mawk, the one on it's left!" I looked to the left of the cloud and saw a heart shaped cloud. "It's a heart!" I exclaimed, pointing at it. "Yeah, that's what I saw too!" Yami said, smiling up at me. I looked back up at the clouds to keep myself from blushing, the man was just too damn cute! Seriously, it should be illegal to that cute!

We sat there for a while, just pointing at clouds and guessing at what they looked like. It was really nice to just be by Yami, to sit next to him and talk. "Hey Mawk, that cloud looks like an angel!" Yami exclaimed, pointing excitedly at another cloud. "Hey, you're right Yami!" I replied, looking at the cloud. Wait a minute, that cloud looked like Melody! I had been so caught up in making Yami feel better that I forgot about the dream! I stared at the cloud and tried to come up with a realistic explanation for the dream, and failed. I mean, I was worried about Yami, so dreaming about him kinda made sense. However, Melody didn't fit into this at all! I've only met her twice, and all I know is her name! Though Melody did seem to know something was wrong with Yami, and he hadn't told anybody what had happened expect for me. How could she know about Yami though? Ugh, none of this made sense!

I sighed and gave up on finding a reasonable explanation for the dream, it didn't seem like it would happen anytime soon. I glanced over at Yami and caught him staring at me. He looked away quickly, but I swore he was blushing!

Yami's POV

I couldn't help but stare at Mark, admiring his handsome features. The stubble on his chin, the way his glasses made him look smart and sophisticated, and the way I could just lose myself in the dark depths of his chocolate eyes. He was perfect. He glanced over at me and I looked away quickly feeling a deep pink blush spread across my cheeks. Ugh, what was going on with me? Yami, just admit that you like him. No I don't! Dammit Yami, you were just thinking about how perfect he looked with his glasses! Just fucking admit it already Yami, you like Mark! Not in a friendly way, in a romantic way! Did I like Mark? Did I actually want more from our relationship? How could I, I was still so heartbroken from losing Jess! Wait, maybe I just felt like this because I was single for the first time in nearly two years! Yeah, that made loads of sense!

I felt the blush fade from my face and I went back to pointing out clouds with Mark, ignoring the little voice in my head that was screaming obscenities at me. After an hour or so, Mark suggested, "How about we go get something to eat Yami? I know a nice little place up the road that has the best pizza!" Pizza really sounded good! Hang on, what do you want to do little voice? Fuck off Yami, if you won't listen to me, then I won't listen to you! Fine, pizza it is then! "Mawk, pizza sounds awesome!" I replied, struggling to stand up, legs asleep. Mark snickered and offered me his hand, and I took it sheepishly, feeling my face heat up slightly. Mark let me lean on him until I lost the pins and needles in my legs, and we left the park. The old lady waved at us as we left, and we both waved back at her.

We walked in silence to the pizza place, and I glanced up at Mark again. His face was so serious looking, he must be concentrating on something really important...
