When you are making friends, remember to make real ones. In sixth grade I made friends with a big group of nice girls but then they signed up for the talent show. And 'forgot' to include me. My current friends are awesome. If one of us duck-walked into the infernos of hell, then the rest of us would be right behind her with the marsh mellows and roasting sticks. (That's a quote from the book, 'Firebug'.) Here's some things to look out for in bad friends:
1. They stand in their little circle and you can barely squeeze in.
2. They seem to 'forget' that you're there sometimes.
3. They seem really nice, almost like they pity you.
Here are some things to look out for in a good friend:
1. When you first meet, they will either crack you up or annoy the crap out of you. Or both.
2. You will trust them with your life and you with theirs.
3. Their parents basically become your parents. And vise versa.
4. They'll stick with you. Seriously. There's no getting rid of them.
5. They can make you laugh like nobody else.
There are more tips for making friends but I'll do those later. Stay classy my friends!
