First thing's first, dating is a horrible idea in middle school. It's mostly likely that you barely know the person and when you actually get to know them, they don't turn out as you expected. And sometimes you'll end up making a mistake that will give you a horrible reputation for the rest of middle school.
My tip? Say no. Don't be afraid to say it either. I find that the best way to not sound like a butt-face is to just tell them that you're no ready to date anyone just yet. It works wonders, and they don't feel as bad.
Also, middle school is when you are just starting to figure yourself out, don't add unnecessary people to that list, and definitely don't jump to conclusions about yourself. You'll be surprised at how many mistakes can be made in middle school, but they can be avoided by just staying where you are (dating-wise).
Sorry for the long wait, guys, I didn't have much time to update this for a while, but I'm glad I did! Stay classy my friends!
