Wednesday's POV:

I shouldn't be able to feel myself sweating.

Bianca pulls out a seat for me to sit down on before sitting on her own. I know that this is just her attempt at being chivalrous, so I try not to swoon on the spot.

"Are you trying to woo me?" I ask. I'm surprised my voice isn't as shaky as it is in my head. Maybe I'm calmer than I give myself credit for.

"Do you want to be woo'd?"

Never mind.

"As tantalising as that offer is, Bianca, I would much rather start eating before the stomach acid in my body starts digesting my pancreas."

Tantalising?

"Okay... I hold you to that, Addams."

It's really nothing to fuss about. Bianca and I were just seconds away from making the limousine windows foggy. No big deal. So why am I breathing so deeply? I don't get it.

Bianca is clearly just doing all of this to be nice. I just need to breathe. I just need to relax.

"We should probably start killing our babies by now if we want to get anywhere with decision making, so how about Rio? I've always wanted to go to Brazil." Bianca requests, and I forget that was why we went to this dinner in the first place.

"To do what?"

"Uhm... try the food?"

Beat

"Brazilian dance fights."

Ah. I see. As Enid was helping me get ready for this not a date, she showed me a video on her phone which consisted of Brazilian children competing in an amateur dance competition. The two kids would dance the same dance to the same song, and whoever proved to be a better performer would win.

According to Enid, the entirety of our grade have decided to try this out for themselves, claiming to have been doing this since school re-opened. I suppose Bianca has found herself a victim to this 'trend' as well.

"Don't go silent on me! If I'm going to do a dance off, I'm going to need it tobe authentic."

"Understandable."

"What about you, Wednesday? Where do you want to go?"

"I figured we could all go to Tokyo."

"Why Tokyo."

In all honesty, the only reason I want to go Tokyo is for research purposes. Just before this semester started, it came to my attention that fae are quite literally illegal in most parts of the world, excluding Asia and Australia. This residential trip will allow me to see them with my own eyes and broaden my knowledge on outcast history. My, imagine all the books they have on fae!

"It's the lesser of the three evils." I lie.

"Don't tell me Wednesday Morbid Addams is skipping out of a potential bad experience intentionally."
