"the song of the sea calls will you be the one to answer it"
<—————————————————————->
-part one continued-Shock still flowing through his body Daniel scurried to the girl's side. "Oh shit! A-are you okay?!" Daniel stutteringly conversed with the girl but at that moment the girl awoke. Her pale blue eyes stared into his, Daniel looked down to see a large gashing cut on her palm. "How did you get that?" Dan commented pointing to her gash, at which she grabbed his hook with fresh blood on the blade. "Oh...I'm sorry about that." Daniel said looking down at the starboard. Just as their one-sided conversation was continuing Liam opened the boat door exiting the cabin.
"Quick get in here!" Daniel spoke up opening up their cooler, with her getting inside. "Sorry about that bud." His father said rubbing his neck. As Liam looked down at Daniel seeing his son with seaweed. "Dan, you've got some weeds on your boot," Liam commented. "Oh, I caught it?" Dan said shrugging towards his father, which cause the man to squint his eyes. "What are you doing down there then?" Liam questioned. "Ah- Just gettin' a drink!" The boy said reaching inside the cooler.
As Daniel just put his hand into the cooler mistook, the girl handed him the first thing she saw. "See!" Daniel declared raising a Coca-Cola can unto the air. Looking at the can and back at his Father, Daniel hoped his Father wouldn't notice the flaw in his actions. His father released his squinted look and ruffled his son's hair. "Ah! Told Ricky you're a Coke kid! C'Mon, let's get home bud." Liam said with a smile arching like an upside-down rainbow. Relieved Daniel took his pole from the bed of the boat, and got up.
Just as they reach the shore of Myrtle Beach, a flowing flow of cold hits the pair like the flow of a river. "Where's old man Rick?" Dan questioned from the site of the sign on his store door being filled to CLOSED. "Must have gotten too windy, probably," Liam responded lifting the cooler into the bed of the Truck. "Just hope this wind stuff ends sooner than later," Liam replied. "Uhh- Y-yeah," Daniel said clicking his seatbelt in place. Liam looked and his son looking down at his seat smiling to himself revving up the Truck and leaving the docks as a cold breeze slowed behind the scene.
The new scene starts with their truck entering their vacant garage. "Hey, Dan the station called, I got to go I'll be back by ten ok?" Liam said looking out of his window, to his son lifting the cooler into the house. "O- Yeah, yeah see you later Dad!" Daniel said waving one arm and holding on to the cooler. His Father turned to the driveway, sighed, revved up the vehicle, and drove off to the station. Daniel sighed and grunted the cooler inside.
-Liam POV-
Right in front of the Police Station, Liam is jamming to Season of The Witch. "Must be the Season of the witch! Boom Bap, Boom Bapbabap." Liam drove into a parking spot, stopped the Truck, and enters the station.
"Good Morni' Liam" Maris the receptionist answered the man's arrival. "Morning!" The man replied. "What you got for me?" The man said leaning on the women's desk. "Ms. Balboa said her cable turned off, and her "water stopped running." The woman replied lifting her eyebrow to the statement. Liam sighed and picked up his keys and headed out of the station to the Balboa estate. After knocking on the door of the Balboa home. "Liam it's you, Come in!" She let Liam in taking him to the backyard, in which sits a cable antenna sitting on the grass. "So, what happened here?" The man questioned. "Well, durin' the windstorm last night, caused it to fall, and the rest is history" She replied glancing at the fallen cord. "Ok, how about the water?" Liam requested the woman. "Yeah, C'mon." Ms. Balboa continued to turn every faucet and hose in and out of her house, and after looking at turning on all of the channels not one drop came out of one tap. After seeing this unnerving sight Liam was left with confused look plaster on his face. "Well, thank you for showing me this." Liam expressed this to Ms. Balboa. "No, thank you. I just hope this all ends soon." She responded Liam got in his Truck and waved goodbye to Ms. Balboa.
