Elise's POV

Tarantado talaga yung gagong yun. Binabaan lang ako. Buwiset yun. Walang modo.
"I don't like him," ani Allie. Her nose was scrunched up and a disgusted frown played at her lips.
I feigned confusion. "Oh?" sabi ko. "Ewan ko lang, may weird vibe lang siya,"sagot niya. Kung alam mo lang. Worse pa sa weird. I'm not naive. Halata namang may iba siyang motives for asking me out. I might just be his rebound girl.
Sure he's one tough cookie, but he might turn out to be different.
"Wag mo naman siyang i-judge. Baka nga ako yung magpapatino sakanya," I replied. Okay, medyo cliche nga, I have to play Allie's game to get her off my back. She'll just keep bugging me. Malaking hopeless romantic eh.
She exhaled and scooted closer to me. "The devil is not capable of change."
Tumawa ako. "Why so serious? Sino ka at anong ginawa mo sa bestfriend ko? Ang Allie na kilala ko, sisigaw at magf-fangirl over what I just said."
Laughing, Allie picked up one of my pillows and flung it at my face. "Baliw!" sigaw niya. "Be careful lang ha? Ayaw kitang masaktan."
"Heh. Ikaw tong ayaw akong masaktan, pero tinapunan ako ng unan. Masakit teh. Huhuhu," I countered.
Maya-maya pa, may narinig kaming busina galing sa labas. Wala naman kaming alam na bibisita ngayon eh. "Elise! May tao sa baba! Ikaw kumuha ng pinto!" utos ni kuya. Siya na nga mas malapit sa pintuan, ako yung papabuksan. Ang tamad talaga. Hmph.
Walang hiya. Di porke't bumaba na lagnat ko, eh pwede na niya akong utus-utusan, Baka mabinat ako.
"Hoy Jericho! May sakit yang kapatid mo! Ikaw na kumuha!" si mama naman, love talaga ako. Hihihi. Thankyou Lord!
I could hear Kuya grumble in annoyance from downstairs. Yan kasi, ang arte arte pa.
"Sinong nasa pinto?" tanong ni mama.
"Elise! Para sa'yo to," at this, I rushed down the stairs, not caring how shitty I looked. Baka si Chaos yun eh. Tumakbo ako like my hair was on fire.
"Ang bilis mo amputa. Kala mo siguro si Chaos no? ," teased kuya. Malaking letse yan sa buhat ko, pero wag kayo, mahal ko parin siya.
"Manahimik ka. Upakan kita diyan eh," sagot ko.
"Hello po. Kayo po ba si Elise Bernardo?" greeted a guy decked in red and black. I nodded in reply. "Ah okay po. Here's an order of a ham and cheese pizza with stuffed crust."
"Huh? Wala naman akong pina-order eh. Baka ibang elise tinutukoy mo? ," sabi ko.
"Ay hindi ho. The pizza's already been paid for. Galing po daw sa isang nagngangalang Chaos. Hindi niya po binigay last name niya," sabi naman ni kuyang pizza delivery.
I smiled. Tinanggap ko yung pizza at tumakbo sa kwarto. Narinig ko si kuyang sumigaw ng "makasarili ka! Wag mong angkinin yung buong pizza!" Tas nalintikan tuloy siya ni mama. Tumawa ako nung umaray si kuya.
When I finally reached my room, I found a guy's silhouette sitting at the edge of my bed, back towards me. Muntik na akong sumigaw at tapunan siya ng desk lamp, bago siyang lumingon at na-recognize ko kung sino ito.
"Chaos," I breathed out.
"Hey babe," he said in a sultry tone, a smirk curving at his lips. I walked towards him, not bothering to ask him why he was here or how the devil he got here, knowing I'd set myself to receive a crappy answer.
"Babe my ass," sumbat ko. "Ba't moko binabaan?" dagdag ko pa. Lakas kasi ng trip nito eh, di ka sasagutin pag tumawag tas bigla na lang sumulpot sa kwarto mo.
"Pangit mo kasi."
"Gago ka."
"Pangit ka."
"Pfft. Luma na yan. Nakakaumay. Ano? Wala ka na ibang masabi?"
He huffed. I heard him mutter a string of *cough* colorful words. "Did you get the note?" He asked impatiently, drumming long and slender fingers on the surface of my mattress.
"Anong note? Tigilan mo nga yang kaka-English mo, nakakapagod mag translate!" He sighed and snatched the pizza box and set it on my bed, lifting the top cover to reveal a yellow post-it sprawled under it.
"I brought drinks too. Let's chill upstairs." ~ Chaos.
Napangiti ako. Sino nga namang aakalain na ganito pala ka sweet itong baliw na to. "Stop smiling, it's annoying," he grumbled and my face fell.
"Che!" Inirapan ko siya at kumuha ng isang slice ng pizza. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Chaos pop a can of soda and hand it to me. I took it and tried to drink from the can but the fizz just went up my nose.
Nanilisik mata ko nang nakita kong pinipigilan ni Chaos yung tawa niya. Leche talaga.
"So," he coughed. "Do you have anything to entertain us?"
"I have scrabble," I offered, shrugging my shoulders to add emphasis.
"Well alrighty then," Chaos rubbed his palms together and looked over to me.

"Elise, Scopperloit is not a word," he argued.
"Yes it is!"
"No it's not."
"Eto kaya o!" I grabbed a dictionary and flipped the pages till I found the word I was looking for. I held it close to his face and let out a cry of triumph. "Ha!"
"Ugh whatever," he growled. "I'm bored. Let's do something else."
"Sinasabi mo lang yan kasi ako nananalo." I stuck my tongue out and cleaned up the board. "Bitter," I muttered.
"At least di ako pangit. Di tulad ng iba diyan."
"Kailan mo ba ako titigilan?" sabi ko, inis na inis na sa pagmumukha niya.
"Kapag nainlove ka na sakin," he whispered faintly.
"Pwe! Kung akala mong maiinlove ako sa isang gagong tulad mo in less than three months, delusional ka. Patulong ka na te, kailangan mo kasi."
Tumawa siya at unti-unting nilapit yung mukha niya saakin.
Isang centimetro na lang ang pagitan namin. Tinitigan niya ako sa mata at bumaba ang tingin niya sa labi ko. My breathing became heavier, my heart thumped wildly I was scared he could hear it race through my thin shirt. I closed my eyes and waited.
And then....
"ANG BAHO MO! MALIGO KA NA NGA BILIS!" sigaw ni Chaos, habang tinatakpan yung ilong niya.
"Gago ka! sipain kaya kita where the sun doesn't shine!"
"Edi di na tayo magkakaanak niyan!"
I huffed and stalked away from him, propping myself on my swivel chair. Nag expect ako eh...
His lips aren't kissable, I kept trying to convince myself.
"Go clean up first, tas let's finish what we started. Or pwede sabay tayo.." he suggested, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Manyak! Manyak ka talaga!" I screamed before rushing into the bathroom.

A/N: Hey guyssss! This update is so long overdue, sorry talaga. I have no excuse to cover up for this. The past month has been all about schoolwork and finals kaya di na ako nakapag update. Anyways, summer na ngayon dito samin, so expect more updates soon! I'm currently finishing the next chapter, medyo filler lang to, pero promise, yung susunod ay mas maganda kesa dito.
